When a major change happens, like switching Johnny carson to leno to conan, many viewerson all three sides switch networks and it take years to get them back regularly.

I've watched Conan since the orig. Andy Richter days (as have most if not all of my 40+ yr. old friends have) and when my son was 16 I brought him to see Coco's show when he was still here in NY so now, at the age of 22, my son as well as all my friends kids are very much like 'WTF???' as to what's going on here.
Sadly we, their parents, don't have any answers other than to say 'He'll be back..." .
