Noe Zhordania chaired the first government of the Democratic Republic of Georgia from July 24, 1918 until March 18, 1921, when the Soviet Russian Red Army invasion of Georgia forced him into exile to France where he led the government-in-exile until his death in 1953.
In this group of approximately 60 singers who performed the songs in the end, only 3(!) were Georgians, but you all are, and we love you! We were blown away by how well many of you knew Georgian language, history, culture, SONGS from different regions of Georgia which are sung in so many various ways and dialects, and by the general atmosphere of warmth as well as by such an open-hearted demonstration of love towards our tiny country!
Hot damn!
