Possums can't even carry rabies. Their body temps are way to cold. They can get rabies but will die shortly after because it makes them Ill. They rarely get it anyways. And if they do the die.

i just found one outside hiding in between two boxes from my dog, who was barking at it. :( now i don't know where to put the poor fella :(

@paigerr4971 did't catch from any Mother Opossum.. he was at side of the road in bad conditions...I fed with gouts' MILK...I took this tiny guy like family and when he got the size of a cat he go to the wild..I hope everything go on well for my Dear Opossum...I miss him, always....[;>)=

@CAPISTRANTOMAS I would assume they don't get rabbis, unless they're Jewish. If you mean they don't get rabies, that's a different thing. Rabbis are people, rabies is a disease.

@bestamerica Maybe... but this guys are not a PLAGUE like the people believe ... at contrary, clean the yards of snakes, rats, etc...never atack domestic animals...They are very DEFENSELESS....!!!

@CAPISTRANTOMAS MY BABY OPOSSUM got the size of a big cat , The Opossum LIVED ONE YEAR with Us..and then , I put free this Tender Guy in the yard,,,sometimes he comeback....Now, I don't know where he is...I MISS MY LOVELY OPOSSUM...!!!
