  • Srry could u make a video on how to fur I need help

  • Wow old u make a video

  • Can you do something like tagt again to show us you you made the jaw? This video inspires me so much!!!

  • is that a ski mask you used for the base?

  • @Jphillskates it's a sort of like one. it's called a balaclava, it's designed to keep you cool instead of keep you hot.

  • D: noo i needed to see how to make the bottom jaw DX

    -tear-

  • how did you make the scar and teeth on your Snickers Hyena? i have a wolf head base and cant make the teeth. one of the eyes has 3 red scars over it like claw marks. all the methods i have tried have failed. any tips?

  • NUUUUUU I WANTED TO SEE THE JAWWWWWWWW

  • How did you do the moving jaw? This was helpful, but I wish your camera hadn't "pooped out" i would've have liked to seen how made the jaw

  • I burnt my finger it hurt but it didnt. i just let it dry and wiped it off. IT WAS HOT

  • @TheFursuitCreater i did that all yesterday lol

  • Thank you for this video, for a beginning and even intermediate fursuit builder this helps a lot with construct steps. I know it helped me to see what I'm doing wrong on my practice mask. Thank you for posting, Love your work.

  • Hot glue hurts. xD

I burnt two fingers in the last two days with it.

  • be careful when you use hot glue while your glueing something over your thighs...

  • @megamonsterhouse Even more, be careful when you put hot glue on moving pieces!! I had a gust (through open window) cause a piece of foam laden with hot glue fall hot-side-down onto my palm, severe burns from that. D: D: D: Ever since then, I put my glue directly onto the HEAD, not the pieces I'm gluing onto it!!

  • One thing I learned about fursuit construction is that the head is 12% fur 30% foam and 58% hot glue.

  • such a waste

  • @FUBUXGEAR hmm? why do you think so?

  • Comment removed

  • @candydirt trading large amounts of time, money, and talent for the pursuits of a fetish or fandom, or whatever you wish to define it as, is a waste. no one ever got a advertising job with their portfolio of fursuits. its sad to see the few with talent in that fandom/fetish squander it.

  • @FUBUXGEAR Yeah I'm not trying to get an advertising job. In fact I make more money than most freelance artists and artists in the field of commercial art. I enjoy cartoons and animals, so making cartoon animal heads is only a step removed from the doodles that I draw. The furry fandom is mostly just a bunch of cartoonists, I don't make any sexual costumes, just fun ones for people to perform. The comic scene is a "fandom" too, does that mean people should stop drawing comics as well?

  • @candydirt id say furrydom is a bit more complicated than just cartoon animals, its odd when people who arent as familiar with it identify with it, take latin vixen for example, ive had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this person first hand, and at least for her, it goes a bit deeper than a likeing of cartoon animals. and considering "commercial art" (as opposed to freelance which makes little in the way of money) is salary, im sure it evens out...

  • @candydirt infact id say the vast majority of the artists and fursuiters ive come into contact with have, privately at least, taken it deeper than being fans of cartoon animals, inuki, zen, damaron, sokitwopaw, cornwallthedragon, etc (character limit prevents me from listing more) but you are correct, similar problems exist in online comic communities, DA for instance has its own cliques to equal it, im talking about people with actual talent, not neccissarily oekaki RP kids.

  • @FUBUXGEAR I don't personally know any of the artists you just mentioned. However I've been going to cons and selling "furry" art since 2004. I find the general attitude is a creative one, more based in a celebration of personal expression and local artists than of consumerism and "selling out". So, to each his own I suppose. I for one consider myself very lucky to make a living off of my craft.

  • What kind of foam did you use? I had started making a head but I realized I was using the wrong kind of foam =P

  • @TheAnnonymousGirl Just the green upholstery foam they stock at places like JoAnn Fabrics. I usually wait for the 40% off coupon too since it is expensive :)

  • @candydirt well we don't have a JoAnns here but we do have a handcock fabrics. Do you think they would have any?

  • @TheAnnonymousGirl Yes, they should :)

  • KILLY! I wish this was in existence when I started mine :C

  • Ooh nice to see how some others make their muzzle :) Your muzzles are so adorable and tiny ^^

Also, you are very brave for working with hot glue while in shorts... I did that once, and got a nasty burn on my leg for it!

  • this helps me sooo much! i finished half of my head because this video cleared some things up for me.

  • Awesome! Can't wait for you to re-open commissions so I can finally get a head made by you. :-)

  • Inspirational and educational o3o

  • It's meeeee. :3

Great job, I'm SUPER excited to see the finished head! X3

  • That was very interesting to watch! ^^ Nice job, Killy! :D
