  • It's kinda cool how Alice Cooper was emulating the style and antics of Iggy Pop and Stiv Bators during this period! I got to see him the first time on this tour.

  • This is fucking awesome..

  • Best version to me at least

  • His Special Forces look was the best.

  • I love this outfit and hair way sexy!

  • Great upload and performance. Thanks a lot! Love the 'DaDa', 'Special Forces' and 'Zipper Catches Skin' era, ver underrated period of Alice Cooper's career.

Could you upload in this good quality, 'Who Do We Think We Are' as well, from the same place?

  • This is the coolest thing I have seen. MAN!!!

  • I love this 80's Alice!!!

  • great stuff...first time I saw him was in 81...on this tour...been a fan since 1973! Love it...his was the first rock music I'd ever heard...thanks Alice!

  • thanks for posting!!! The best, Alice rules

  • Excellent quality! And great show ;D Sad Alice himself doesn't remember anything about this era...

  • kind of scarier (and a lot funnier) than manson. go alice!!

  • Where did this quality come from? THIS IS BLOWING MY MIND!

  • This version sounds scarier than the video, and more dramatic.

  • This is actually more what he looked like in the late 60's

  • no..thats not how he looked at all...he had redesh hair..and he didnt put on NEAR that much makeup

  • can someone answer a question bout alice for me.

    Well

i have been a fan asince brith. That was 1992. I know nearly everything about alice. But i know nothing about the special forces era. Why did he do it. you know the huge change in his look?

  • He wanted to change the character and try a new concept for Alice.

Also, in the late 70's, he was better known for his ballads than for the rest of his music, so with the new decade he made the character a little rougher, but still as fun as always !!!

  • ahh ok i did notice that lace and wisky had to much balleds and its hot tonight and goes to hell.

I just didnt think he changed cause of them.

    lol

    thanks dude

  • You're welcome !

Yeah he was not really considered a real rocker anymore because of his ballads (although they were huge hits).

Alice (the character) had become too sweet, so he had to look for a new direction to take, and he didn't find the right one until 1986 when he came back with his old horror/shocking concept of the early 70's. Then, the real Alice Cooper was back !

But the Special Forces era is not that bad, it's just different. I love those albums too. They're part of the Cooper myth

  • This is different than when he played this song at all his other performances these days, was it originally written like that and then modified over the years?

  • Oh this era is great ,fizzylipstick you aren't only one who love's it ;)

  • I think i'm the only Alice fan that actually enjoys and love's his "Special Forces" era. lol

  • You're not alone

  • lol Excellent!

  • I love the whole Flush the Fashion, Special Forces, Zipper, DaDa era. Saw him on the Special Forces tour in Toronto...one of the best shows I've ever seen.

  • youre definitly not alone! thats one of his best albums! i love it!

  • great video s thanks... is this on dvd

    ALICE IS AWESOM

  • Awesome clip! Is there much footage out there of this era of Alice?

  • I don't think there's very much. Aside from this I've only seen a couple of live performances and interviews in not so great quality.
