It is such a marvel when musicians who are virtuosi in their own right mesh so well together. Bill and Monica - their music will never die.

Great solo by Bill. All in closed positions almost like big band tutti section. The thing he plays at 2:03 shows how much control he has over the keyboard. Didn't even bother transcribing it, cos it's not something one can just assimilate into his playing, it's the benefit of classical training mostly I think.

Bill was the greatest. I like this version better than the Tony Bennett version with Bill Evans. But my favorite version of this song is by Blossom Dearie.... there is a live recording of that out here on youtube.

I love this! It's interesting to compare this version that Bill Evans does with Monica Zetterland to the one Evans did with Tony Bennett in the 70s. Of course, here Evans has the help of drums and bass whereas on the Bennett version it was just piano and voice but both versions swing sweetly. Thank you so much for this upload.

Great classic ! Monica´s masterpiece ( with great genius of Bill Evans behind her it had to be at least very good but it turn out to be great). And of course the record is a bible for all the female singers in Sweden. Arigato gotzaimashta Otaku-san !!
