There are two songs in this film: One is the main theme song played in the beginning and I have NO clue where to find it....Does anyone know the composer of it??? And then theres the one at the very end called "Beat For Two" by Elbow...I can't find it on youtube, on google, on yahoo, not even on the UK sites....Nowhere!!! When Rory says 'Rory O'Shay was here,' he is basically saying remember me, please make sure my inprint on the world isnt forgotton just becoz i'm gone. I think it is also his way of saying goodbye to Micheal.

i think this is the strongest performance i've ever seen McAvoy give, and it's not just becuz of the physical limitations and oh what a challenge that is. i mean, it is a huge challenge, but also, the characters' personality is way difficult to portray as well as he did.

let's face it, rory is kind of an asshole. james mcavoy, on the other hand, asks permission to say "wank" on television.

I think Damien O'Donnell said he didn't like the title of the film. So, when the time came to distribute it outside the UK, he opted to change the name to Rory O'Shea Was Here, which he felt was less cliche and use a title that was more of a tribute to the life of the eponymous character.
