My 1st video & not too good. I am on top of the PA Monument & afraid of hts. Starts with the roundtops, pans across w/Trossel Farm & Peach Orchard way in distance. The road below is Hancock Ave. Where it bends is the marker of where he was wounded & Codori Farm in distance located on Emmitsburg Rd. Pan continues across Pickett's Charge to the clump of trees on the left side of rd which is the high water mark and angle beyond. White bldg on right of rd is the old cyclorama. Out of words sorry.
where are you standing? is that road right in front of the camera the Emmitsburg road? make a text comment with more info on where you're standing please.
He/she is standing atop the Pennsylvania monument which is located right in between Little Round Top and the area where Pickett's Charge took place. The road that is below the camera was constructed after the war for the tourists I believe. The Emmittsburg Road is located some where out there in the field about three hundred to four hundred yards away from where the camera is positioned. I may be wrong but the Emmittsburg Road is now a pretty busy 2-lane highway.
