Thank you for your comment. i actually employ dancers as my crew to help me out with the work on ever studio. I have built hundreds of studios now. I never turn down a hard working teacher regardless of budget. As a dancer that has survived all the hard floors and stages it is good to know that I am saving future ones from injuries that most of us have experienced.
I dance 4 nights a week at Willowbroom Ballroom it has a sprung bare maple floor built in 1921. It is an awesome floor in smothness, bounce, and thump categories. I like that you only use one layer of underlayment, I think two layers would negate the bounce too much. Great work, dance floor making is a lost art.
