Why is nobody here calling out the Republicans for their idiocy?? Ron Paul makes mention of the "War on Drugs" that needs to be ended... yet it was Republican President Richard Nixon who started the "War on Drugs" in 1971. As far as the military draft... that was started by a more distant REPUBLICAN President by the name of Abraham Lincoln. Nixon ran on a campaign issue in 1968 of ending the draft. Yet, in 1971 asked Congress not to do it til 1973, breaking his vow. LOL
@baezalejandro So how long til Ron Paul starts eating alive the Republicans in the House? The one bitch from North Carolina said she would not give up her government subsidized healthcare (public option) because she said privately obtained healthcare insurance was "too expensive."
So why won't they let us have what they are allowed?
if your a politician, your a target, and your risk goes way up. so they're entitled to it.
From my understanding Ron Paul never took a government paid junket, and I'm pretty sure he would like to see everyone follow suite & see that changed.
he's always preached that he would rather see true economic & monetary reform, an end to foreign spending and less taxes so ppl can afford their own private medi-care.
@PalemoonSun I do agree though that they should be taken off of it and instead just given a SLIGHT raise. Like I said... I'm almost positive Ron Paul doesn't use it.
Check the US budget to see all the grant money going for studies overseas such as "the study of methane gas release of water buffalo in Cambodia $1.5M. Thats just one of thousands.
@SPAD58 What? No mention of the $3 BILLION going to Israel to pay for their PUBLIC OPTION HEALTHCARE SYSTEM? Why do we Americans have to provide free healthcare to Israelis but it's wrong for us to pay for our own healthcare??
DR. Paul is a great amrerican, period, how can people support these wars, the federal reserve, and the patriot act, what the fuck is wrong with you america,
hes a doctor (delivered over 200 babies), a war vet a 2 times former presidential cadidate and has had a very long tenure in congress, what makes u know so much more than he does?
i think the young turks is just here to distract us so we don't find out the truth. i never see them calling the federal reserve a scam or the war on drugs, or the federal income tax
ya, they're funny though. for a long time i listened to them and just hearing the way they broke down complex issues into simple ways of thinking about them was good. it's just too bad they keep perpetuating 2 party bullshit system.
@qweqqweqbt for real. the young turks are all about protecting the democratic party, not about truth.
the fact that they never address the federal or the income tax is a tell tale sign that they're either part of the agenda or just plain fucking stupid!
@baezalejandro Why would someone be an IDIOT and question the income tax?? The Constitution says the Congress has the power to lay and collect taxes.
Question to you uninformed "Statists" who think States are supposed to have all of the power and that we are to be slaves to said States.... there is nothing in the Constitution that says the States can impose a state income tax. Is there?? I don't hear you bitching about that little man!!
@PalemoonSun the federal income tax is unconstitutional because if u research it the required number of states to ratify it were never met. the income tax is a direct unapportioned tax making it unconstitutional.
2nd if u anything about the federal reserve.... which is another topic they almost NEVER touch upon showing how little they know of how evil and corrupt it is...u'd know that the make anything other the GOLD and SILVER legal tender is also unconstitutional.
@PalemoonSun for congress to delegate power to a secret group of bankers who counterfeit money which is backed by nothing is like the president delegating his power of the military to Black Water or the mexican cartels.
@MooseOfReason Republicans like Ron Paul sure did support the draft under Nixon at the height of Vietnam didn't they? Ron Paul said NOTHING about it back then.

@PalemoonSun insurance is based off risk.
