Yes comparison with politics is creepy.

All governments not severly restricted is like an organ that grows bigger and bigger, to the point that self survival of the organ is uttermost. That goes for right and left.

Also we have to remember money has no home. The people who financed and made from the fall of communism are the same people/companies who invest in capitalist markets and lobby democratic governments.

The UK and USA governments need a good trimming to size before it to late!

You're right, but it's more subtle than that. It's about how reformers (in this case, the animals) promise to liberate people from their controllers (humans), but inevitably become the controllers themselves. That's the meaning of my lyric "could it be true that animals are people too?" and "the pigs and the people all looked the same..."

But The Who said it better than I did: "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss." And it was a much better song. Damn those guys!

That reminds me of a bit from a book called Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. It was really just a side point, but the author said something along the lines of "a radical group cannot solve problems by overthrowing the government before them if they dont change the thought that created that government"
