  • he had to abort because the twin was still on the runway. the guy in the control tower is seriously a dumbass for not catching that.. rather tell a light twin to go around than force a big jet to burn an extra $1800 in fuel .....

  • Who's paying? :) great clip!

  • That was obvious, they did proceed going around because the twin piston approach speed is so lower than theirs.

  • at 40 seconds you can see plane 1 on runway still

  • I would almost bet the tower told him to go around because plane 1 was not clear of runway

  • oh shit theres another plane on the runway....wat to go ATC

  • Best to abort than to overun the runway.

  • princess airport : better known as :princess Juliana

  • good piloting decision, imagine the spence in fuel for this go around

  • I've been on a couple of aborted landings for just that reason,,,another plane was on our runway. Happens more often that we ever hear about.

  • Chuck Norris was on the runway and the plane nor the pilot wanted any trouble...

  • @47bobful The jet couldn't land because the plane that came in before wasn't off the runway yet.

  • damn! i would crap myself if i were in that small piper!

  • Somebody get that damn Piper off the runway!

  • Incoming aircraft at Princess Julianna usually clear the end fence by 12 to 20 feet. This guy was way to high and would have run out of runway. The roadway, car rental office and Simpson Bay ( at the far end of the runway ) are unforgiving landing sites..... :-)

  • @StercusAccidit actuallly i tend to think that the other plane was still on the runway

  • That's interesting I wonder what happened?

  • Runway incursion

  • @HamburgAirport A runway incursion is when an unauthorized aircraft, vehicle or person is on a runway the cessna was cleared to land so its just a aborted landing or go around

  • Could be used in an advert for underarn deodorant.

  • pilot saw his wife on the runway, no baby, last night was enough.

  • i dont know the layout of the taxiways and princess julianna but the aztec should have landed shorter and turned off quickly but maybe there arent taxiways untl the end of the runway i dont know or maybe he was being lazy and didnt want to taxi all the way down after turnoff...oh well

  • I did a school intership there for a week in the tower on the island, those pilots in the twin engine planes are a**wipes man, never listen >_>

  • @football92me I can believe that. Still, it looks to me like the aircraft could have used a bit more separation on final. The airliner was less than 30 seconds behind!

  • "The is the Captain speaking. Sorry, I gotta try that again."

  • Shit wrong airport

  • I dont know the circumstances but, it supposes heavy traffic and scheduled traffic have some 'priorities' over GA aircraft...? hmmm

  • I thought the small plane aborted for the 757 to land but it was the opposite :P should've been the opposite of that

  • @Deltapilot96 lol, the small aircraft was classed as No.1 for landing as he requested first, the 757 was No.2 for landing, so because he was so close behind, he had no choice but to go around, the small aircraft was already committed

  • ABORTION IS MURDER!!

  • @sinojtjej

Tell that to the pilot of the jet! See what his answer is going to be...

  • What is the most unwanted question to hear sitting in a flying airplane?

"Anybody onboard with flight simulator skills..."

  • @EAPoeProductions LOL to that. Other thing you dont want to hear pilot ask is 'Are we there yet?'

  • @BrynBrandy

    ;-)

  • I personally believe that every aborted landing is in heaven!

  • It's called a "go around".

  • UOUUUUUUUUU

    Abort Land at last seconds

  • UOUUUUUUUUU

  • Captain: This is your captain speaking, we are now descending to land at .... wait wait oops nevermind....

  • Thats crazy man i love it

  • it is miss approach

  • Comment removed

  • Wow, that is some traffic separation.

  • Comment removed

  • To all: for this situation a sentence like "expect late landing clearance' exists... ;-)

  • ATC prob already told he before 400m but because the flaps and the engine needs time after he push full speed to lift the plane up

you see the approach was too high and there is still a plane on the runway

so ATC already told him before 400m and he pushed full speed engine needs 3 to 4 seconds to go full speed and lift the airplane after that then flaps up gears up for less pressure below

  • @68asus Ummm...what the FUCK are you talking about? Thank god you aren't a controller, because nobody could understand that bullshit. Runway wasn't cleared, pure and simple. The king air probably missed his taxiway....

  • @rcvideoshooter Ummm...what the FUCK are you talking about? Lol, it was a piper aztec landing not a kingair that caused the go-around.

  • @68asus Sorry but let me correct your broken English. "ATC Probably alrady told him before the 400m mark, (still doesn't make sense) but because the flaps and engine need time after he pushes full speed to lift the plane up... yo... what the FUCK are you talking about?

  • I guess a 747-400 after that!

  • captain:passangers fasten your seatbelt were gonna land.

    computer:500,400.300

    captain:JUST KIDDING HAHAHAHAHA

  • I love the wooohoo at 0:46 hihihi going around by the way ;)

  • Somebody forgot their swimsuit, so they told the pilot to return to the mainland.

  • I still couldn't understand the reason for going around ? was it cuz the small plane ahead of the big one was landing, tht's why ?

  • @smartdon007 The runway has to be clear for the second plane to land. The twin was not entirely off the runway and the land/don't land decision had to be made, probably by the pilot in this case. It happens, but this is a separation issue that is usually taken care of miles away on approach. Doesn't always work out, especially when a jet is following a smaller, slower plane. This is what happened with Michele Obama's plane a month ago or so.

  • Too high.

  • he aborted :(

  • Almost bad sittuation

  • no one is capable to judge an ATC or PILOT for something happens everyday and every second... xxx traffic go around! roger going around! set throttle TOGA, and take your bird out of the way! end of DAMN STORY! take it easy

  • ATC semi-fuckup.

(but not as bad as it would have been if the RVR had been bad)

Not uncommon at resort island airports.

  • the ATC tell him go qround not abrobleme

  • That's an abortion you can live with

  • Happens all the time. Sometimes faster aircrafts are caught behind slower planes. Smaller planes are informed to clear runway no delay to try to get the larger aircraft in. sometimes it works other times is does not. Happens everyday

  • I bet the passengers on that plane were like OMG WTFS GOING ON! haha

  • Hhahaha poory 757 pilot , he became mad from that small plane

  • That is a truly terrible place for a beach

  • @conorcallaghan1 Really is .. this is to damn dangerous.

  • good call by a safe pilot

  • more time flying, more money! (to the crew of course)

  • yeah he aborted, no more baby :(

  • "This is your captain speaking... Sorry folks, I want back home.."

  • @ollieahokas nice English idiot

  • @ipur3youi There is the possibility that English isn't his or her first language, simply clicking on the username can take you to their profile information where you'll see that olliehokas is in fact from Sweden. Clearly Ollie was making a joke too which at the time of writing, 24 people thought was good. I do too, so grow up and stop being such an ignorent, intolerent fuckhead.

  • @flyingturnip1 lol u mad bro?

  • @ipur3youi lol, yea a little. attitude like that are what makes this world such a shitty place to exist sometimes. Earth would be beautiful if it wasn't for the population!

  • they were approaching the runway too close !!!

  • that..was all because that F*** highway plaine...

  • heh prob cuz the twin prop didn't make the second taxiway turnoff so it had to use a turnaround point further down the runway..

  • Fuck yea, Fuck you beech Baron 58 xD, Usually they make it on the 2th -.-

  • At 0:05 you can clearly see, two engines.

  • that stupidl ittle shit plane made big papa abort landing, damn u one engine loser!!!!

  • its called irony... it takes both a sense of humor and some intelligence to get it, obviously you have neither...

  • You put the pilot off ! :-)

  • runway was'nt clear GO AROUND or ABORTE LANDING nice ATC

  • @MrRamiz204

ATC At St Maarten suck i live on st maarten so i know that, good luck that the pilot saw The plane!

  • @hiimkian The jet pilot should have aborted long before that.. he should have realized he couldnt land long before he did so to avoid the dangerous situation.

  • @hiimkian how on earth does simply living on the island make you capable of judging the ATC's abilities? Are you a pilot? An air traffic controller on the island? Do anything related to aviation other than stare at the airplanes wondering how they fly without flapping their wings?

  • @foxtrot789

Hello little Einstein,ATC Really suck ive been in the control tower and it ust young dumb locals+ Your dumb i have so much to write i wont even do it......

  • @hiimkian so, you been on the tower once, you suddenly know all about atc, and what it takes to be an air taffic contoller. young? im 26 and i am an air traffic controller, and you need skills to do such a job, skills you can only dream about in a wet dream. don't judge their skills just because they did't see an airplane once, like you allways spot everything in your path.

  • @doudy009

Whatever airport you work at im not flying to.

  • @hiimkian may i know why not?

  • @doudy009

Because im sure your a suckish ATC

  • @hiimkian oh, yeah, i forgot you know all about what it takes to be atc, and who can do it and who can't.. sorry just forgot, im not as good as you, if i see something 1 time, i will probably forget, unlike you, who is a pro after seeing atc once... sorry

  • @doudy009 dude you got trolled. Don't feed the trolls and they'll leave ya alone.

  • @hiimkian hey bud FUCKING GRAMMAR NAZI ON YOUR ASS MOTHERFUCKER LEARN HOW TO SPELL

  • @foxtrot789 Epic win...

  • @foxtrot789

    Your very dumb.

  • @foxtrot789

Shut the fuck up, I've seen it with my own eyes. They were making phone calls in the middle of their job? Do you live on st maarten? No . NOW FUCKING WORK IN A STRIPCLUB YOU GAY WHORE

  • @hiimkian lol you're just making yourself sound even more naive... "i've seen it with my own eyes, making phone calls on the job." Maybe if you 'heard it with your own ears' you could comment on their reasoning for their 'on the job phone calls'. It could be the case that they're are calling other facilities that monitor traffic advising them of various situations currently occurring. Do you think that because they discuss airplanes they must only use a Motorola style radio?

  • @foxtrot789

' Hey , how you doin? Did you give Lisa her lunch already '

I dont thin they are calling other facilities

  • eh, didn't feel like landing today huh...

  • PUT YOUR GEAR UP !

  • Give way or my jumbo crushes you lol

  • 757, takes priority over a light prop, that might just be me though

  • surely the little plane should give way to the 757?

  • the wrong thing was the elevator

  • In the Navy, you would get a yellow seat cover indicating you missed the cable while landing on deck and had to come around for another go.

  • i would get distracted by the people on the beach coming in at night at they were celebrating july 4 :D

  • creian qe iba a aterrizar? olee!

  • The airplane saw Chuck Norris on the runway.

  • nar hes like that girl on the beach was hot let me fly around again

  • hmm... 757 vs that lil thing.. thats something you dont see everyday

  • P***y. Just kidding!

  • @shess0501 What's "maintain visual separation" mean then? I hear that all the time

  • Little plane chillin' on runway still, go around.

  • That happens to me in FSX all the time, damn AI ATC...

  • @aaroncar I know. Whenever I'm cleared to land in Flight Sim, they clear aplane for takeoff and I have to go around. Once I had to go around 4 times cause of the damn AI ATC>

  • that cloud is incredibly turbulent!

  • why is there always some dude stating the obvious "he aborted" in go around videos?

  • Stupid stupid ATC. Either that or one of the aircraft was in contravention of its instructions.

  • And pilot heard from the flight control "... go around, traffic is on the runway "

  • YEP..ANOTHER PLANE..

  • Heavy can't come in first because of jet blast on the light aircraft.

  • He aborted? or S/he Aborted.

  • "Cessna PJ-WEC, keep the speed up, first available exit - or you'll be a new hood ornament for 767 on short final". That ought to scare him off the runway.

Imagine the look on the face of the pilot of the twin, when he sees the shadow overtake him!!!!!

  • Somethin tells me if it was the other way around that twin would have had one hell of a time landing through the wake turbulence from the 777.

  • 0:45 "He aborted." Better safe than...

  • Having spent 2 years in SXM, I know that Cessna or whatever small plane had plenty of time to get the hell outta the way. Probably a local happy to make 200 tourists have a tour of the island :)

  • 0:32 Damn that's freaking loud!

  • oops wrong exit

  • Hey, big planes first! Seriously, safety first.

  • they were way to close...small plane still on the runway...nice job ATC!

  • @mYOzZyKaT They made a mistake. How is that a nice job?

  • @mYOzZyKaT

I was there... The ATC said nothing about aborting. The pilot was the one that saw the plane.ATC at St Maarten realy suck i know that because i live on St Maarten

  • They forgot which way was Down

  • awww should of brought the poor 757 in first

  • ok you are right, my mistake

but what i said is true, my dad is pilot and i fly in fsx, a simulator.

  • i wouldnt blame the pilot. Very Tough Approach At Princess Airport

  • @vambob Well u really cant say all landingzz

  • pilots like FUCK THIS AINT MIAMI AIRPORT

  • the 2nd plane didn´t land because: if you are landing and you have not put the wheels on the track after the third part of the track you have to go and make other landing circuit.(mi dad is pilot)

  • @sferc97 .. No, the small twin engined aircraft had not left the runway (can still be seen at 00:38) hence the go-around.

  • and there goes like 10,000 worth of fuel to go around lol

  • That's Retarded ATC for you

  • @umpalumpa101909

    No it doesn't. Visual approach.

  • does st martin have ILS?

  • @markkloplepol No they don't. It's all Visual I'm pretty sure

  • Lol it should be the B757 to go first followed by the Kingcraft of sumthing ... B757 carrys pasenger more the the small plane

  • That is just simple ATC.

  • I don't think this is bad ATC I think that this is poor communication between the conrollers. If the light aircraft contacted apporach they would get first preference to what to do which in this case was to land. In that case the ATC should have noticed and insturted thye heavy to circle.

  • @masteratfsx So in other words "bad atc". Aren't controllers part of the air traffic control system?

  • Who sequenced that approach? What's the ATC gonna tell the 757 crew? "Uh, ya think you can slow to around 90knots?"

  • bad bad badddy, that little twin should have been put on a hold somewhere around the airport...

  • get a stall at this approach XD

  • fuck wrong airport

  • @fayez4life lol u actualy made me giggle

  • @fayez4life lmao this is what i wrote in one of my comments like a year ago and u coppied LOL its cool though XD

  • Don't these guys know what S turns are?

  • @NIKV69 in a 757? at such low speeds and altitudes?

  • I'm not sure what the arrangements were, but the 757 should have landed first. I mean... there are ways to avoid wake turbulence. It sinks, stay above it all the way to touchdown.

  • thats gotta hurt the wallet!

  • thats what she said

  • @cadence33333 i understand your point of wake turbulence,

the hard line fact is, that the 757 would burn serious amount of fuel in the go around proceedure and delay the arrival.

A private VFR could orbit on a downwind leg and allow seperation

  • yeah the atc is very uneconomic !

  • @aceridgey

no, the larger jet would create too much turbulance for the prop.

apparently, they should be separated by a bigger gap.

  • @sqy391 also, the 757 will probably do a back-taxi, so it's more efficient for the prop to land first.

  • @sqy391 bullshit, a go around like that will cost the 757 atleast 1000kg's of jetfuel. the prop doesnt even carry that much load, let along fuel !.. that go around did cost more then anything you couldve made with that cessna flight !

  • @haitiano1982 u shouldn't decide the sequence of landings by judging how much fuel for a go-around. there are many other factors that take place more frequently.

  • I went spottting at DCA and I saw 3 aborts and one touch-n-go in the first 30 mins I was there.

  • That was awesome! Don't see that every day @ SXM!

  • not a very bissy airport with heavy planes each minute... would be a better option to land the 757 first.

  • Yeah! this morning i was flying a cessna with my instructor and the ATC told me that the runway was cleared to land, so i was on final approach and suddenly, just seconds to touch down i saw a fokker 100 taking off and the ATC told me to go around lol. After 4 months of flying experience this was my first time that this happens to me.
