Hi, im a student pilot, if i have an asic card, would I be able to go into the cockpit during a flight? I wanna see what its like to be in the real thing before I go any futher in my flight training
hey mate, please tell me how to get in the cockpit, cause soon I am flying virgin blue and I really want to get in the cockpit for the lading, also I am 13 if that makes a difference. Thanks mate
@thestig747 only way you can get into a virginblue flight deck is if your in uniform for virginblue or have permision from the captain and have a asic.
I wish all cockpit videos could be filmed like you did there! Just perfect how you shown all the cockpit environment and procedures. Amazing! Thank you!
The video title should be something like: "Virgin Blue 737 Cockpit landing" or something like that because i spent 20 minutes trying to find it but because it's not titled properly, it took me ages!
any landing that you can taxi and walk away from a am told is a good landing, especially when you don`t crash? what is the thumping noise near the end of the landing? a flat blown tyre?
Because thats how much it costs to pay for your licence all the way up to your ATPL with a NG737 Endorsement which most airlines won't pay in this day in age so you have to foot the bill!!
Hey. I might be. Pfft. Who knows, you don't know how good I am or anything. And I'd like to point out Aerobatique, you have a very sad life telling people that can't be things that they're already halfway there :)
I very rarely comment on youtube and I thought that was appropriate as it was a ridiculous question. It frustrates me when people like you waste web space with comments like that. I might have been out of line saying you do not have a chance, as you may well be 10 and not have half a clue about aviation as yet. If you are already half way, being that you would presumably already hold your CPL and have about 100 hours on twin type, I would be very concerned if you were asking questions like that.
And I apologize for assuming you cannot do it. I'm sure you are capable, as long as you actually wish to do this, and have the drive to learn and make mistakes along the way. Out of curiosity how far have you got? Done your BAK? It's easy ;)

Only persons permitted in the flight deck during flight are operating or positioning air crew with a valid ASIC.

Bumps at the end was the landing gear driving across the lights in the middle of the runway - very accurate landing!
