  • Your video confirms my suspecion from all the videos on here about brushes. They Are not so much about what you need or like, but to show off the whole collection. Brushes is so much an indvidual thing, and what you love, might be something I hate.

  • great vid

  • 217 was my first mac brush :D

  • Hi, Whats the blush you are using in this video?

  • i love ur video. i have a brush fetish too, i have like 30 also. my mom wont let me buy more but i want the makeup apron just to have. thanks

  • 150 brush wash it with baby shampoo and it will be so soft!!

  • i'll try that, thanks for the tip :)

  • "Hey Y'all" :)

    Your cuteeee!

  • you can actually use the 231 brush, that tiny flat with rounded top one, for gel eyeliner~it is good toapply gel eyeliner on your upper lash line,if u want some more detailing work~

  • You´ve got a new subscriber! And I am really picky about subscribing (Gotta be good and fun watching) hahahaha! :D Your really cute and pretty <3

  • aw thanks sweetie! :)

  • your welcome!! Keep up the good work! (:

  • Your soo cute! (new subscriber) =D

  • thank you :)

  • the 189 is a foundation brush

  • Getting back into MAC after a little bit of a hiatus, this video def helped me. :) It's hard to decide what brushes you should get before others. :)

Keep the videos coming chickie, love em!

  • I so wanna have all your brushes! haha. For that one brush that you said was harsh, I think you should try washing it with baby shampoo (Johnsons Johnsons) coz there was one brush of mine that was really harsh but once I used the baby shampoo it became really soft and smells really good. Maybe you'll end up liking the brush after you use the baby shampoo. Hope this helps (:

  • hey stephie! have you ever used the 109 brush for liquid foundation? alot of gurus use it for that and they love it

  • i have, i just prefer the 187. the 109 works fine but i find that it creates streak lines more often then 187, so i have to spend more time blending it out. on the other hand, the 187 i just stipple onto my face. gives me an airbrushed look and blends easily.

    its just my preference :)

  • Hi stephie! I'm a new subbie! and its definitely hot here in Texas...loved this video!

  • aw thanks girl! stay cool lol :)

  • For Canadians, Quo has their "Bronzing Powder Brush" its exactly the same as the 187 and its only $22.

  • "i take the pain and put my powder on"..lol..that made me giggle..yea, my 150 does get scratchy, especially when i don't wash it after A LOT of uses..

  • i use the 231 to apply my blacktrack or to smudge out my liner for a smokey look :)

  • ohhh i'll have to try that :) thanks for the tip girlie!

  • I totally understand what you mean about the 150 brush, it use to scratch my face. What i do is, wash the brush, put abit of conditioner on it and let it sit for 2 or 3 minutes and rinse off, the brush is actually really soft, wont prick your face. Only problem is when you use it once and the powder goes on that brush and sits in there, the next time you use it, it will start to scratch your face up again lol.

So i guess you just have to wash it more often.

  • to heck with it, i'm gonna try conditioner on my brush LOL! hopefully it will do the trick... i might just have to wash it every time i take a shower lol

  • I'm in dallas, so I feel ya. I feel like I'm about to pass out each time I step outside.

  • It's 112 here, in Arizona.

  • ughhhhh at least some other state understands the heat we have in tx!

  • Exactlly lol. Its like, you get the mail, and you just open the front door, and you get so hot, and sweat, its like okay, time for nap. Cause the heat exhausts me.

  • STEPHIE thanks so much for doing this!! I was the one who asked hehe :) Again, thanks a lot sweetie!<33

  • no problem girlie :)

  • I have the same problem with the 150.

I got it, it sheds like crazy before AND after wash! and it's prickly. so back to the store it goes.

  • this is very informative. thanks steph! :)

  • LOL, today must be brush day, most of subscriptions posted videos having to do with brushes lol xP

  • LOLOL, "It's actually very neglected and I'm so sorry" LOL, Stephy you're too funny xP

  • haha its true! i neglect some of the things i buy lol

  • thx stephie. love your videos and you!

  • lol you're so funny & cute! "my long list of things im going to marrry" love your videos! maybe you could condition your 150 brush? i've heard of people doing that before. & i agree with you white bristled brushes are softer to me also.

  • your too cute :) and i lovee your vids!

  • i have the same problem with my 129 brush that you have with your 150 "/ i wish i returned it, but now its to late.

  • hey girl! ur soo pretty! try the 109 brush with ur liquid foundation... its <33

  • oh i will for surely try it out :) thanks for the tip!

  • my 150 is the same way and I love it for bronzer but hate that it's kinda pokey. And yes I use my own hair conditioner for it, and still no luck. =/ And YEA! It's so hot in Texas dangit! (Houston here)

  • do you like the 226 brush?

  • i do like it for applying shadow to my liner, especially on the lower lashline when i want a finer line. i also like it for my brows. i just like the 209 better for eye liner, it gives me better control.

  • The 150 sucks.. I bought it.. hated it & returned it for the 134. The 134 is SO much softer!

  • i dont like 187 anymore hey ya'll need to try the sephora 55 professional abrush it is better than the 109 and 187 combineeddddd

  • Your 138? brush is the same as my 129. It feels kind of pokey when I apply my blush, it's only soft after I've washed it with shampoo. I think it may feel prickly because it's dirty? At least that's when mine hurts.

  • Stephie,

I have a request! When you make your tuts, can you start from the beginning as you did when you first made them?

  • I dont know why but for some reason, all my mac brushes that have the black goat hair loose so many hairs. I cannot even use my 109 because I literally have thirty strands of hair on my face everytime I try and use it.

The 187 and 188 I only use for blush. For the face I either use the 190 or I use the dior face brush

  • sorry to hear about the black hairs, my 150 does that to me :(

  • hold on stephie! what are you using for bronzer/blush. and what's on your lips? you're effortlessly gorg! rawr.

  • aw you are too sweet :) on my lips i'm wearing MAC peachstock lipstick. cheeks i think were NARS laguna bronzer as a contour, NARS orgasm for blush & a beauty powder from MAC for highlight :)

  • yay for MAC 187!!!! haha. i am just posting a brush video to :D
