  • what do i do if my bare root roses canes ( i peeled my self) a little of the canes stick skin on the top when i first got em. :,( i wasn't thinking.what do i do???

  • @hlatino03 Absolutely. They should thrive there that way.

  • Perlite. Comes in most potting soils to help with drainage.

  • You can certainly add water before or as you are planting. I've found because the mix I just put back in is loose and I'm not stamping it down the water gets through it just fine.

  • Paul, the one thing i would recommend to your video is to add water to your hole before, not after, you plant the rose in the hole. This ensures that water will get to the base of the rose. Have you ever taken the rose out of the hole after you planted it and then watered it? I would guess that the base of the hole will be dry.
