When I read this passage for the first time in his book Endgame, I started to cry when he was talking about how you (the river) miss the fish and the forest and the humans...
you quoted Makiavelli "I've seen the future and its hopeless"
Maybe for human beings or for most human beings its hopeless. But not for the earth because it will live on whether we are here to destroy ourselves or not. After we're gone paradise will rise again.
much thanks frank.. yeah, sent it along and derrick was sweetly appreciative.. said he loved it. (looking forward to whatever the two of you put together like you would not believe.)
yeah..exactly. thanks adam. (it can get pretty depressing roaming through the videos.. i wanted to make something simple and centering to come back to and breathe.)
the thing is, no one has control over what videos will pop up in that box and how that's determined is an even bigger mystery. though it seems who you know is more important than the tags on the vid... at least this holds true for now. i have a business (i will not mention it's name) which i advertise on YT and all the related vids are from totally "unrelated" channels! very frustrating.

I agree that "after we're gone paradise will rise again," but not before "we" take a few species of plants and animals with "us". . . .

hey, do you know how it is that this video has no Related Videos ?

thank you charlie..
(i have no idea regarding related videos.. i had noticed but figure i will give it some time to 'work itself out' before i make a fuss...)

so i may just as soon leave it.. except when it runs to the end it shows completely unrelated vids... like cooking shows and such.
gleefulsabotage 3 years ago
that's weird, man. i didn't even notice.

(that's also a YT vid)

yes. it had not escaped me that there are also some lessons for activists in there. something about diversity of tactics and unity of purpose.
(good to see bruce is on board.)
