  • Damn. Now I want some cheese.

  • I think he needs more cheese.

  • Whats a car

  • I want that Wensleydale with Blueberries.

  • what about a hatchback?

  • The back seats should stay out anyway. Unless you dislike head rests and are keen on whiplash.

  • is their a difference between "people carriers" and mini-vans?

  • @baronvonhypnosis depends on where you live theyre called different things like ahow a lorry is a truck in the us

  • @baronvonhypnosis People carrier is what a minivan is called in Britain. It's like a station wagon is called an estate car here and a sedan is a saloon.

  • @graemeoliver84 I think minivan and ppl carrier is similar but not the same. In the us we don't call those old vw vans minivans. I think we in the us only call vans built like cars with unibodys and fwd minivans

  • @baronvonhypnosis The terms "People carrier" or "MPV" (multipurpose vehicle) are used in Britain to describe the same kind of vehicle as the American minivan (the Chrysler Voyager is sold over here and that's called a people carrier/MPV) ie. something that's car-like, rather than a converted van with windows and seats like the VW Caravelle at 2:50 (which is based on one of the VW vans platforms). Minivan, people carrier - just US/UK terminology, you say tomato, we say tomato.

  • 5 people have people carriers....

  • i love how he says "that's some proper space for.. for cheese now" :D

  • LOL Blueblurhies

  • we used to have a 93 ford taurus with the "third seat" or "rumble seat" installed

    fun but deadly!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @datawraith3080 I love the 1st gen Taurus

  • god damn, the british reallly do like cheese!

  • million quid's worth if cheez!!!

  • that cheese shop is spectacular!

  • I see modded up people-carriers from time to time and all I think is WHY!?

  • i bet he still has cheese for 5 more years in his house

  • Talk about a supermarket sweep...

  • Holy Hell! Thats a lot of Cheese!

  • I like how he says Blueberries, "Blubries"

  • I can't stand cheese

  • its a rather funny coincidence that i had to watch a prius commercial before this video

  • OMG BBC 240p

  • @BobbieandSteveDooley That's your opinion.

  • jeremy clarkson couldnt open a french whores legs with a wheel of cheese!

  • Coming from Calgary, land of pasteurized everything I am nearly sporting wood at the sight of all that cheese.

  • Damnit! Every time I see this clip I wind up at the supermarket looking for some Wensleydale. . . .

  • i want to go to this cheeseshop :D

  • Pointless, nobody ACTUALLY NEEDS (yes NEEDS) a car like this.

Granted, it could come in handy, about 2-3 times a year, but still, there are other ways to solve the problems you run in to those 2-3 times.

The average household only has 2 kids, so bringing your kids to school is a pretty lame excuse too, somebody.... please... explain why a car like this makes sense? and i mean making sense in a way that you'd need it at least 2 times a month AT LEAST.

  • @hectorae86 if you have more than 4 children, if your family is fat, or other members of your family stay with you.

  • @bluestreak117 Not everybody is like sarah palin, so more then 4 children is a very rare thing.

Other members of the family rarely stay with you more then 2 times a month while not having a car of their own at the same time and if you're fat, you're gonna die a hart failure anyway, buy a beamer or a merc or something :P

  • i own a v-class well i supose it has the space of a van but it has the space for every guest at a stag night. its a great car we got it for 16,000£ though.......

  • To much chesse!!!!!!!!!

  • More cheese Gromit?

  • look look look! wensleydale.... with blueberries...thats fantastic

  • @EvilRabbiMAn lol

  • lolol i think jeremy was boning the stig when the van was shaking

  • To be honest though, I don't understand these people carriers I mean, if you want to seat more people, buy a van since this can seat only 4 and if you only need to transport 4 people then why not buy a sedan or better yet an Estate which has more space both for people and cargo?

  • @mondeost2202008 the minivan was originally designed in america and could seat between 5 and 7 people, some sat as many as 9. they were for people who wanted to have a large number of people but not 13-15 people, so they could still get decent fuel economy, or people who just wanted to have more space for stuff.

  • @tallzdatank Oh I see.

  • Wenslydale... with blueberries, that is astonishing

  • @feAr636 HAHAHA Bluuuebuuries, his accent is so funny.

  • wtf camels in britain?

  • I love wenslydale with cranberries. Not a big fan of cheese but I like the fruit...

  • @afthefragile it is an awesome cheese :P

  • We come on the youtube to get away from commercials not watch them

  • Econolines is the way to go...however, very huge and difficult to drive, and high turnover rate.....but safe in collisions i think than the european counterparts

  • in my opinion, ford galaxys are the best people carriers

  • Did he bought all of those cheese?

  • I don't know if a people carrier is that bad. But a car can only carry four people at most, what if my family have five members?

  • @Dickiespc Get a bigger car: you can pick up an 11 year old mercedes e class estate for around 3k, they are very reliable, very comfortable, were specifically designed to transport 5 6 footers and reasonably cheap to run.

  • go clarkson!!!!

  • mercedes v class. how original.

  • ...what are bluebreeze??

  • Blueberries

  • thank you captain literal...lol

  • If Jeremy's minivan was a 2009 Chrysler Grand Voyager with Stow N' Go Seating, he can carry more cheese while leaving the seats in.

  • what no stinking bishop?

  • mmmm cheese

  • hhahahaha what car does this man like

  • Big Foot!

  • @EA12THQUAKE

    Land Rover

    and thats about it ^^

  • @EA12THQUAKE

i think he likes sports car such as Lamborghini,Ferrari and SLR.....

he critics almost any car except for super sports car.....

  • @EA12THQUAKE

The probability of Jeremy Clarkson liking a car increases with the number of cylinders, and number and or sizes of turbos attached.

  • @luminaeus I think he'll be a fan of the F1 Espace. It has a 3.5L V10.

  • @EA12THQUAKE the Focus, the F40, the MX5, the Range Rover, the Gallardo and the Mercedes AMG Black series.

  • the bad back brigade love them

and crack on they have bought it themselves

blair called the a gift from the taxpayer

  • See right there is my point, why the hell do u make a car with 7 or 8 seats and leave enough luggage room for 2 or 3 small bags??? Im talking about almost all minivans out there. My dads 1987 VW van seats 7 and behind the third row is 4 feet to the tailgate and 5ft across. It holds all 7 peoples luggage easily.

  • Totally agree.. They named them correctly as 'people carriers', cos the majority can't carry people and their luggage--and why call them cars ? They're minibusses.

  • too much cheese, but i LOVE cheese

  • with all that cheese, he wont be taking a shit for 20 years!

  • @xRAMxDOD too bad it can't bind up his verbal diarrhea

  • @xRAMxDOD you might as well say jc is gonna cut the cheese a lot!

  • @fallingup90 haha, so true

  • @xRAMxDOD

Probably why so much shit comes out of his mouth to this day.

  • @sniper1911 haha

  • @xRAMxDOD very funny good one!

  • oh yeah, cheese. you gotta have cheese! habanero cheese for me :D

  • I have a mitsi chariot that seats 6. {not including driver}

I drove 1200 kilometres on a round trip once with all seats taken. we had enough space for half our luggage {wich in fairness was a fair bit, there was 6 people after all} the other half went on the roof rack and we made it to our destinations and back on less than 106 litres of gas.

much cheaper than taking two cars.

  • "we made it to our destinations and back on less than 106 litres of gas."

well.. mind telling us how far away you went?

  • about 12 hundred kilometres.... i think thats around 10 k's to the gallon...

it was a round trip, we filled the car up 3 times and i still had almost a quarter of a tank left at the end of it.. tank holds about 35 litres.

  • 0-60? Nah.

    Quarter mile? Nope.

    Skidpad? Uh-uh.

    Stopping distance? Not even.

No, by far the most important metric to consider when purchasing a vehicle is cheese-carrying capacity.

  • 0-60kph = 7.5 seconds {apparently - i havent tried my own people mover yet.}

quarter mile.... dont know but i reached 180kph on a street race.

skid pad... front wheel drive, it did well in reverse donuts but it was too heavey to do a satisfactory straight forward burnout.

stopping distance - about 4 metres from 60kph

whatever this lot translates to in imperial don't know

  • Wow, I would love a cheese warehouse where I live, because I LOVE cheese. But DAMN Clarkson that is A LOT of cheese! Even for me that is a metric ass load.

  • That IS A LOT OF CHEESE!

I want that big circle one! The only time I could have a big cheese here is in christmas. We have Keso De Bola which is ball shaped.

  • the title aint plural

  • people carriers do come in handy though. and some dont look that bad.

  • Bluebrees and cranbrees, brees nt berrys

  • that mercedes van is called a sprinter where i live

  • Don't be so offensive. Car companies often have different names for the vehicles they manufacture, depending on locale.

    For instance?

GM-Holden and GM's british branch, vauxhall. Same company, and the same car, their average 4-door sedan. Called the commodore in australia, and the carlton in europe.

Another instance would be the Vauxhall/holden monaro CV8. Exactly the same car, but in america, it's referred to as the pontiac GTS.

  • yes but that is a vto in the video

  • I wish we had giant cheese warehouses around where I live

    that would be sweet

    endless cheese

  • move to wisconsin lol

  • Toyota has a solution called the Alphard / Vellfire!!! stylish looking family MPV with a business class luxurious standard.... not as bored as the Merc. and the VW... by the way, MPV is for people but not for cheese... kakakakakakakakaka...

  • the toyota alphard is the most fucked up thing ever.

It is offensively huge with no ground clearance, extremely difficult to drive, and everyone in asia know that alphards are used by hong knog celebrities with small dicks. Car theives dig them though.

  • @hardcore4republican when I went to hong kong just a month ago with my family...the most numerous cars I saw where the Toyota Comfort and the The Alphard....I noticed the weirdness of its design and I think that the Toyota Innova(sold only in the Philippines and Indonesia) is much much better with greater ground clearance and a stronger firmer frame

  • @pcbb01 The Innova was supposed to be the replacement for the Tamaraw FX or Kijang which was well known for it's reliability, usability, practicality and cheapness as it served a lot of purposes such as delivery vehicles for farmers, taxis etc. even today. The Innova though not as great as the Tamaraw FX isn't really behind.

  • @pcbb01 - The Alphard seems to be a bigger Previa rather than an Innova.

  • Clarkson used this idea again to review the BMW M5...then he goes and rags it round manchester airports runway at night. Thats much more exiting review

  • cheese with chive and onion.....

nom nom nom nom nom nom ☺

  • i need to have some cheese now. on toast :)

  • people over for the weekend??? he must be having the entire country over with all that cheese, i wonder how many crackers he needs

  • Or toast.

  • yummmmm, cheese!

  • after seeing this.. I just had to eat some cheese.... nom

  • +123456

  • i tink that in another life i was a mouse... i love cheese :)

  • "mmm, i'm getting cheese, and fruit!"

finally a food that covers all the major food groups lol

  • Wow, now I want some cheese. That looks fantastic!

  • i wish i had that much cheese :D

  • me 2

  • cheese gives me gas. LOL

  • WOW, that will be me in a few years time, buying shit loads of cheese.

  • i just saw the large blocks of cheddar, and i thought.."mmmhhmmm.. cheddar!"

  • Does anyone know what the dance song is at the beginning?

  • He hates cheese :P

  • Well nowdays they have glass that crumbles not shatters and airbags on the roofs.

  • he should put the cheese on the seats and on the floor

  • put airbags at the rear windows..

  • hmmmmmmmmm cheese :)

  • Only Jeremy Clarkson would be able to explain the sheer uselessness of minivans in such humorous way. He is a genius!

  • lmao it looks like the bbs or top gear is making him do there shopping

  • "i'm eating chesse with fruit mm"

  • the shaking in the beginning was weird in all different ways

  • cheese*

  • Thats a whole lotta chese lol
