Autism can be cured, but we don't know how to do it. I have experienced what it is like to not have autism or any other mental disability, and it is wonderful. I cannot reproduce what happened to me on anyone, including myself, but I remember what happened and am holding on to the memory and studying more psychology than I can bear.

It kind of strikes me that the video says you could cure autism. That's wrong, you cannot cure autism. IT'S IMPOSSIBLE. Autism can be treated, so you mprove and maybe even learn to control it, but autism isn't something you can cure. This video spreads a wrong message.

@megamanamillion considering that some of the world's greatest thinkers show symptoms of Asperger's Syndrome (bill gates, mark zuckerberg), it seems that people on the Autistic Spectrum aren't stupid. Einstein also displayed signs of Asperger's, as well as Newton and Mozart. The severity of Autism varies, that's why there's a spectrum. "Normality" varies also, as does intelligence. And judging by your comment you seem to be on the unintelligent side.
Benjamin Banneke (sp) had Asperger's. So did musician Glenn Gould. There is an excellent book called "My Book of Autism Heroes." I love this book and wish it had been around a generation ago.
music therapy has been used for children for years and i believe this along with diet can improve am autistic child's life....although i find children with autism fascinating a real joy to be around, i just wish people wouldnt view these children as ill.....many of these children are gifted and if we just take the time we will see just how perfect they are xx

Everyday I think of special needs kids because I could have been like anna. I have a ASD and I can sing very well (like a tenor). My intrest with my ASD is maps.
My step sisters son is 7 years old and autistic, He is non verbal, and cannot express himself, he cannot use the toilet he wears a diaper, and hes pretty wild.
Her one wish in the world is not fortune or fame, Its to hear the word "Mommy" from her little boys mouth. I know hes in a program. and I hope he can get better. Honestly I can say I don't know much about it, were not that close. But I do know that she is a stronger person than I.
I wonder if cases as bad as his do get better or cured.

yes i believe that autism is treatable but not really curable. my brother is 11 and is autistic. my parents have tried different medications. but the outburst and his behavior has improved slightly. autistic children are the greatest gift that the godess has blessed me with my brother has taught me so much.
