  • YAY an american saying 'stock' :D

  • what army navy store did you but the stainless model? I have not been able to find this model

  • Both Trangia and SVEA made these cooking utensils.

Trangia makes the modern version that I use today (mulifule) great stove.

  • That is a SVEA, not a Trangia

  • Nope, look up "svea stove" on google and you'll see what a svea is. This is the trangia's military stove version.

  • Look at the bottom of the burner.

  • This kitchen is still in use in the Swedish army (since the 1940's) but now only by the soldiers that are hardly ever out in the woods. It's called "enmanskök", translated to "one man's kitchen", but more commonly known as "snuskburken" by the troops which translated means "filthy can". The fighting troops use a modified Trangia kitchen called "Jägarkök" (copy paste it in google and you'll see it on a site called "soldf").

  • when the fuel burns it will be converted to CO2, Heat and H2O (steam). The steam will condensated on the side of your (cold) pot as it travels up along side the pot.

  • whats the use of the aluminum your lid was right there

  • i don't have a answer to that lol

  • @sxdxfan lol lmao

  • whats the use of the aluminum cover for i see you have the lid right next to it

  • If you have condensation on the pot, it is probably colder than the temp of the room your in. Did you have the pot outside?

  • it was in the car so yes that must have been it!!!

  • The Trangia mess kit is awesome. It's what I chose to equip my B.O.B. for food prep.

  • sweet
