This kitchen is still in use in the Swedish army (since the 1940's) but now only by the soldiers that are hardly ever out in the woods. It's called "enmanskök", translated to "one man's kitchen", but more commonly known as "snuskburken" by the troops which translated means "filthy can". The fighting troops use a modified Trangia kitchen called "Jägarkök" (copy paste it in google and you'll see it on a site called "soldf").
when the fuel burns it will be converted to CO2, Heat and H2O (steam). The steam will condensated on the side of your (cold) pot as it travels up along side the pot.

Both Trangia and SVEA made these cooking utensils.
Trangia makes the modern version that I use today (mulifule) great stove.

Nope, look up "svea stove" on google and you'll see what a svea is. This is the trangia's military stove version.

If you have condensation on the pot, it is probably colder than the temp of the room your in. Did you have the pot outside?
