What made you go with Demon side strips? I'm pretty sure Dusters used the top body line (above the door handle) and all Demons used the second body line.

my dads 70 superbee gets 16 miles to the gallon with all out race parts except for headers and its a 440 big block and he has 3.73 gears

It's not hard. My 68 Chrysler 300 has a 440 in it and weighs a good 1000lbs more than this duster, and I get 15mpg almost every fill up.
