Wes is one of the most talented and passionate guitarists in the world!

His guitar-style is unique, and innovative.

There is only one Person that comes to my mind who plays a similar guitar-style and that is mike einziger (Incubus).

I totally agree most of the people think that he is not a good guitarrist because he is not like I don't know steve vai or someone like that who are algo great guitarrist but they only focus on themselves sounding cool and impresive, what makes Wes a really awesome guitarrist is that he really works on the melody and harmony of the hole sounds not his sounds only and also he likes to experiment different kinds of combinations of notes and sounds even they're not stablished as ordinary

oh and I almost forgot... totally agree with muppetflo... a similar guitarrist is Mike Einzinger both of them have very different styles but they share this vision of melody and structure of the song and not only in the sound of their own instrument
