Very nice work. Swinging tune from Charlie Byrd!! You do it justice!! I have also an Artcore AF85VLS which I love. I think you have the next step up. It sounds great acoustically!
So, finally I found the song's name.: It is Swing 59 by Charlie Byrd...it was written by him as a tribute to Django Reinhardt.
As luck has it, I found it on my teens and hit me so much that I learned it ear; not knowing it's history, was just drawn to the music...who would have guessed that decades later I would discover Django and become an adept of his music & style...Thanks Charlie Byrd.....! May you rest in peace
sir please i'd love to know what you think about this guitar how it stacks up to some gibsons and is it worth the price. im want to buy one but i can't seem to plaay one thanks champ!!! keep jammin!
The guitar out of the box has no noise at all coming from cables, loose springs, screws, etc. This is very important if you plan to play it acoustically (at least for me). Sometimes, late at night you don't want to plug it in, and just strum/solo something. When something is loose, is crazy annoying!!!. This one was good in that sense. (will continue in next comment...)
The es-175 sounds better acoustically (of course, not the same as a full acoustic), but depending on your adjustment of pickup height, you might get with some rattiling of the springs that hold the pickups. Some adjustment with a screwdriver is enough. Both are excellent guitars, pick the one that will make you happy and inspire you to play! :)
