  • Greater good! That is totally true.

  • I guess this dumbass has no idea that his own US Dollar is getting weaker and weaker and usa is in trillions of debt with a bigger budget defecit than the next 10 countried added together

  • yes that right, the disabled pay so the bankers get 9 billion in bonuses and politicians get knight hoods and pensions at 50 odd,

but they want the ill to go back to work till 68,i will say what i feel and that is get lost let the banks fry in there own fat, they created this mess clean it up,,,jeff,,,

  • euro is only strong because of our DM, the other countries are just decoration.

  • This is more like a British take on the Euro. It's bound to be negative;-) Wishful thinking!

  • Ohh 7 billion pounds ohhhhh didums. France poured 500 billion and Germany 335 billion to Spain. Now that's real dedication. Britain can be as pompous as it likes pretending to be a world power with big influence. Well you are not in the top 5 economies, however France and Germany are. Perhaps the euro is facing quite a significant bump in the road but ultimately it is a worthwhile project.

  • @greatbritain22 I'm ignorant because I disagree with you. Riiiiiiight. No wonder you agree with him.

  • @greatbritain22 You obviously didn't see what the title of the show was, or listen to what the show was meant to be about. Get your eyes open and ears unplugged before you accuse someone of needing an education simply because their point went over your vacant head.

  • I like to watch 3 people on CrossTalk

  • Austerity for the elitists--let them eat cake.

  • YES!!!!!

  • The thing is that the west has blown up gdp with fake growth, so the debt ratio to gdp looks lower then it really is. The fake growth has been to blow up the housing market. That is not real growth. So when they begin to cut, they say, this is making it worse, but in fact it is just showing how bad it really is.

  • steveoc64 is dead right... the government can make and loan it's own money.

Screw this private banks create and charge interest for money conjored into existance!

  • Discussion ar 20:00 - 21:00 mins in - the old guy nailed the cause of the problem, and the solution on the head. His recommendation to take away the power to create money from the banks and put it back into the hands of govt has always been the solution to this problem. It has worked over and over again since 1600 AD. It is proven to work.

  • The Russian Ruble by RT is the most trusted currency ..LOL....these people are on drugs..

Russians aver. wage is 100 euro you are POOR

  • @MonkeyXwy 210 infact

  • SOVIET RUSSIA NEWS

  • WTH? Why is that all of a sudden all these countries are in financial collapse? These countries hire the best financial accountants in the world. What is this BS? Why is it that suddenly all these banks are having to borrow money? Are all the bank accountants suddenly retarded?

  • God Almighty caused this world economic collapse beginning 30 th sep. 2008, even if you don't believe it, consider what has happened since then, (it was the feast of trumpets lev. 23), it'll end by june 2012

  • I thought it was meant to be a show about the euro... why's that guy obsessed with Britain, and just hijacking the show to promote his preset sound bytes? Utterly disrespectful. He's just a xenophobe who only really cares about our own country. Just because we didn't join the single currency doesn't mean we should be using other peoples suffering to gloat and score political points. What a c**t. And he lives in my city... I hate that I now know of his existence.

  • BLUE PLAGUE- SYNTHIA... everything else pales to this artificial life form and its cover up.

  • @straty01 Ireland is not benefiting from the bailouts. Only the banks benefit. The Irish people would see the same fate whatever the UK did: Bankruptcy. It is the fault of the EU as an organisation. We all need to leave it. It is corrupt, no one is held responsible for the EU's actions except the tax payers.

  • @TheMatrixmaximum We're keeping the pound sterling because the Euro is going down!

  • @RussiaToday Russia Today is THE BEST news channel I have ever seen. Thank you so much for showing real news and having decent, objective news reporters! Keep it up!!

  • why UK still keeping the pound sterling?

  • Great topic, Peter! Very timely. Thanks.

  • how can you bitch about bailing out Ireland when you made them starve via the potato famine in 1845? Britain invaded and colonised the world, ran slave trades blah blah blah, and NOW this fuckwit is whining! It works both ways asshole, time works in cycles, not straight lines

  • @straty01 Personally I wouldn't object to helping Ireland out, people who do object I refer to simply as "primatives". I do, however, object to your accusation that as a Brit, I'm somehow responsible for something that happened in 1845 before I was even alive. That's just pure racism. You're a racist. I guess you're somewhat primative too. Oh, and time is a straight line, not cycles, you know nothing of the mechanics of reality.

  • @annoloki

So if people don't want to bail out the banks they are primitive? This has bugger all to do with what is in Ireland's best interest as a nation and everything to do with providing life support to zombie banks. Piling more debt onto the shoulders of the Irish people only condemns their children to wear the chains of debt slavery.

  • @bonfireofthesuits Err, no, let me try explain in more primative terms for you. I don't think the Irish government should have bailed out the banks. I don't think the Irish people should suffer the consequences of their government's decision, a decision that was so wrong for the people and that they did not support. If we can help this not hurt the Irish populace, we should.

  • @annoloki

Very kind of you to explain things in a way that my primitive intellect would understand. How do you suggest we help the people though? The only solutions being offered are to plunge the country further into debt. Are you for or against the bailout and what is your reasoning?

  • @straty01

Listen again to what is being said. It's not so much a question of bailing out Ireland but more a question of bailing out banks as ultimately that's what this boils down to.

  • @bonfireofthesuits true, but their tentacles are creating nations of debt slaves so it goes way beyond a narrow focus on banks, they are sucking the life out of people

  • Usury is not a new issue. There are multiple economic models that can do away with Usury completely. However it is so ingrained now within our system that we can't even fathom doing away with it.

  • Very well done! Added to the World United News blog

  • Well done guys :)...

  • Peter said what I've been saying. The only way for the Euro and the EU to work is for all member states to surrender COMPLETE sovereignty to a centralized bureaucracy. The EU project was to create 1 country in Europe which until the EU all European countries had feared.

    SOVEREIGN MONEY!

The State issues the currency free of charge for the social projects of the people at a level relative to the amount of existing wealth and taxes it back.

    Art 1 Sec 8

Congress has the power to coin money.

  • 60% of Germans stand behind the Euro. Only 36% want the Deutsche Mark back - 49% of people with low education, while 80% of people with higher education are backing the Euro.

Which conclusion can be drawn from that?

  • @playgrrrr

my conclusion is that the term "higher education" is the opposite of what generally is understood by it.

  • @playgrrrr the brain washing is working. :)

  • @mathghamain Nobody talks about the bond spreads for the US states, many are higher than Greece, maybe this Euro dilemma is just a smokescreen to deflect US troubles. If the Euro dies it opens the door for the Fed to be abolished when their 100 year charter expires in 2012

  • Great interviews.I agree, interest free loans. Banks should be able to take risks at their own expense. If they fail, they fail.

  • @sallyos06460 How do u keep a bank running with interest free loans?

  • It's all coming down all at the same time. Two of the biggest economies, the dollar and the euro, and the two biggest empires, EU and the US. How can anyone not see that the inevitable horrific end result will be the Beast of Rev that rises out of that global economic vaccum.

  • Banks should only charge an administration fee and not interest on loans, well at least that's a little improvement. Maybe the other piece of advice would be to end the grip and control of the government that banks have, now that would be the next "sound as a pound" advice we should of heard!

  • @elite1980s thats islamic financing. Britain does not wish to follow other religion's methods or regulations of the proper procedure when financing.

  • Although I agree with a lot of what he's saying, Jon Gaunt just strikes me as a BIG blow-hard.

  • this peter lavelle seem to be interested only by very simple infos and fastfood stufffs....

wtf is that talk show anyway ,,,

    low level ....

  • cross talk turns into such a gong show sometimes its not funny..

  • Good day Peter :)

  • Love CrossTalk...I dont know any other show that is more entertaining and half these topix

  • Here in America, the student loans we get for college, and then get out, can't get a job, get farther in debt, and have to file bankruptcy, will come out of the backruptcy with the student loan still being owed. It's disgusting!

  • The Tea Party is a farce!

  • Russia = shit

  • @voicubogdan84 duten pula , gipsy . Mi cac pe ocii tai

  • @burakomin hey man, sorry for what I've said about your country... I was angry and I wasn't thinking straight... I sincerely apologize and I hope you get raped by aids infected beavers :)

  • 2nd best show not on TV. Max Keiser would be #1.

  • The basic Euro note could be kept but a suffix added to the basic note

for each member of the Eu e.g. EunF (for euro note France,EunG (for euro note

    Germany),etc.

The design could be a standard note with a circular area where each

member of the union would imprint its mark of authenticity.

This would allow different value(s) for each euro note for each member

state. This would create a decoupling system for each member state's

    economy.

On member state(s) would not pull down the rest.

  • UK is not bailing out Ireland's people but Ireland's banks! UK's banks are linked to Ireland's banks!!

  • UK you need to revolt and get out the E.U. financial ties!!!

  • @Demosthenes0725 might be kinda hard to believe but Russians are number 1 oil producer, and gas exporter... Real things, not fake ass currency backed by nothing

  • The plan is so obvious. At first the international press was smearing Greece, now it is Ireland.

They tried the same with Austria in 2009, we were lucky, that the investors were not scared. However, the main reason of this "Euro-crisis" was not the real fundament of data, but the negative propaganda war of rating agencies/hedge fonds/media.

  • Who thinks, that the 11% interest rates of Greek debts are not caused by massive media propaganda/rating agencies/specultars is an idiot.

The Greek economy was much better than what the media was saying.

It is simply an economic attack on the "PIIGS" with the intent to create fear and divert the attention from the real causes of the crisis

  • Left and right Politicians.

They are all cheats and liars.

I'm gonna vote UKIP from now on.

  • 30 years ago Europe was so prosperous and good to live in, the wild capitalism is killing the society. The Euro is nonsense, those who buy money are broke, those who lend money are broke, banks are broke and the free enterprise system is sucking all that money to investors in Asia where people have no rights and labour is cheap. How more crazy can man be?

  • Jews control America. Got it !

  • This description does sound like what someone compared the Euro situation to as a hospital where everyone is bleeding to death, some more than others, and they are draining the blood out of the those who are bleeding less and giving it to those bleeding more.. no one is going to be getting out of this alive if this keeps up...

  • Could it be that a monetary system is doomed in itself ? Maybe ?

  • @Kasseenzettel - yup....

  • Could it be that "monopolizing" every goddamn thing, may have something to do with the situation? Maybe?

  • Could it be that greed may have something to do with the situation? Maybe?

  • are we to expect a unifying false flag attack in europe?

  • @wdcsucks1 Nuclear false flag will go off in US first and spread. Economic false-flag in EU will precede that...once teh second crash in Euro has happened, they will set off war.

  • Legalize and promote industrial hemp... trillion dollars crop!

  • Zeitgeist Movement & venus Project is the solution for everybody

  • All debt based monetary systems are doomed to fail by their very nature. They never create the money to pay the interest.

  • The way to resolve this is to nationalize the banks and make them pay back everything they printed for the past 7 years.

  • Some researchers say the EU banks are owned by the Jewish Temples, and that this is proof of what the Germans were saying in the 1930s, that the Jewish banks will take over Europe and dominate it. It is said a member of a Jewish Temple gets free money just by belonging to that Temple, as long as they act very Jewish and promote pro-Jewish ideals.

  • @Rockguitarnow I don't doubt it.

  • @Rockguitarnow Funny how in hindsight... The most demonized human ever to live was RIGHT ON THE MONEY... pun intended. Hitler was close to fixing this damn planet.

  • All the euro nations have to do is print their own currencies instead. The euro is printed by a privately owned central bank where the stockholders of that bank get the newly printed euros free when printed. It should be, that the govts get the new currency printed, or the people, not the bankers.

  • Euro is main World currency...Russian and Chinese presidents backing euro

  • We have dealt with government for 25 years - we have always demanded payment upfront - to offer them credit is a joke

  • The wealth that has since been simply destroyed and stolen by the rich with the help of corrupt governments and the stinking corrupt meddia.

  • Of course Rupert Murdoch is a big supporter of the Freidmanite policies which are destroying this world in favour of the unbridled lust for power of evil bastrds like him.

The Tea Party now opperates as another mouthpiece for the rich scum who would have the poor simply go away and starve to death. That is why it's supporter by mouthpieces for the rich like Mr Gaunt.

What we the people, the country, need is a return to the Keynesian Economics which created the wealth in the 50s and 60s.

  • i wanted to hear more from that rodney guy!

  • The referendum party is not a party of great membership, though it constantly says, "we the British people." It's a party of rich backers, and that gets it a voice not just in this country, but apparently in other countries like Russia. The rich dont need any more opportunity to be heard, the suffering poor dont need to be ignored.

His support for the Tea Party is also telling. We know the Tea Party started as a rebellion group, but it was quickley hyjacked by Fox News and Rupert Murdoch,

  • Jon Gaunt, UK Referendum Party: "I've got friends who are developers, and friends who are in business," is a very telling line.

The UK Referendum Party is the tool of rich people, they dont want to end the so-called free market, they do want to remove all legislation which gives any workers any rights. That's why they want to be out of Europe, because Europe has driven much of the legislation we have to prevent people being exploited..

  • @RobertHartlepool good point, iam peter cooke from hartlepool £6.20ph 3 shifts work as fast as you can at TMDoaksway ind est thats exploitation, unemployed? do what the jobcentre tells you; compliance or no benefits cold and hunger thats exploitation

  • @fisherman1955 There 20 officially unemployed for every vacancy (not including the disabled etc who aren't counted). The vacancies themselves include many 1 hour a week on minimum wage, and also many commission only jobs. Unemployment is part of Friedman's idea. Means your boss knows you can't leave to find another job, and it means he can always tell you there are plenty of unemployed to take your job if you dont like it. From the Headland I do know people who wont work, they're the minority.

  • @RobertHartlepool

Agreed. It's called creating a feeling of insecurity in the workplace. People ask for less freedoms and benefits from their employees in fear of being fired and then subsequently starving. It's the capitalist's dream, but the worker's nightmare. The line between wage slavery and chattel slavery become completely blurred. In fact, there is no difference.

  • Eoro dead, US dollar dead, the good days of absolute fraud is backed by nothing but thin air, for those who would like to relay on the ford Knox gold reserve guess what? There is no gold long time

  • The Euro isn't backed by DOG SHIT...

That's why, Lodoos and Gontolmon, It's WORTHLESS.

  • @DackIsBack

I think you'll find that the euro IS backed by dogshit.

  • @nanciqwerty It might shine like gold... But I wouldn't put it in my pocketbook!!!

  • You can never trust a stupid fucking Brit to show restraint, Royal Bank of Scotland is being bailed out by the Irish taxpayer and this stupid cunt completely lies and makes out WE Irish are being bailed out by Britain: FACT IS, only a small ammount of money is coming from Britain to help Ireland, and only then because it suits their own self-interest. Cunts. Die Brits Die! You tossers, to a man! FUCK YOU!

  • @Zeus184 we arnt bailing any one out, the banks are backscuttling the good(but ignorant) people of Irland and the uk robbing us all blind, and the potty language is cutting

  • @fisherman1955 Ignorant? The Irish are no less so than any other western culture, and there are those of us paying attention, as elsewhere; sweeping generalizations tend to be a sign of intellectual redundancy. As for the 'potty language', ah well, fuck it, we all get a bit excited from time to time, don't we? Cheer up.
