  • great lesson, why d0n't you let us see more?

    milan

  • lovely

  • Fantastico!

  • I didn't know that exists an american tango. To me there is an european tango based on argentinian one...

  • Tango grew out of Argentina. When It was taken and 'refined' by Ballrrom types in Europe it became International Tango. American Tango derives from the European Ballroom Tango.

    The moves are the same.

The way the dancers react to the music is diffrent. Argentine, smooth and improve all the way. Ballroom Tango is more sharp & staccato.

In general Ballroom Tango is for competition. Argentine is for social dancing; due to is much more intimate nature.

The connect between all Tangos is Argentina

  • your partly correct tango was a dance that grew from the poor people who were were descendents of italian/native descendents -

  • I think it should be made clear that this is American Tango and not Argentine Tango. They are very different.

  • Excelente

    Guille de Argentina

  • to ladridimele

Argentine tango and American (ballroom Tango) are nothing alike. For one Argentine is complete improve (there are no set steps like American Tango. The music is even quite different in many cases. In my opinion argentine tango is as different to American tango as the waltz is to salsa.

  • The argentinean and the standard one are so different that I can hardly understand the reason because are both called with the same name: Tango.

Is there anyone who can explain to me what they have in common?

  • American Tango is awesome!

  • yeah it is but only with a boy

  • Complicated!

  • nice..

  • Great instructions- very organized and structured, but... where is the passion?! Tango should be about passion.

  • This is not argentian tango. This is ballroom tango. And their style is very good.

  • Tango is hott!!!
