Dividing by half is not the same as dividing by 2: 3 weeks/0.5=6 weeks, 3 weeks/2=1.5 weeks.

Once the Wii U comes out you won't need this. This serves no purpose other than to connect to a DVI adapter. It doesn't actually change the output; it just upscales from 480p. The Wii isn't powerful enough for even 720p.

that isn't what you have to buy if you want to play wii games in hd, you have to get a vd-w3 wii hdmi this put wii on 1080p

480p on this is still better than 480i off those damn composite cables it comes with! Should look much better. Pretty cool idea.

@MN12BIRD Yeah, I can't wait until I get this in to try it. Even if I can't get the AV unit to upconvert it, it will look somewhat better than component because its on a digital signal and not analog which if the cable is bad, looses picture quality. HDMI is either works or it doesn't.

Protip: It won't upconvert the Wii's signal. You need a dedicated video processing box for that (~$500).

@evildwarf Good to know. All I really care is just have an HDMI port on the Wii so I can connect it to my AV receiver.
