to me this is the perfect ending because if you play the first FF before this it's Tidus standing in the exact same spot yuna's standing on the cliff talking about his story and journey..now yuna is there in his place and that's where he reflected on his life and be yuna's guardian...not very emotional but this is nice.

@vidkid64 I heard from somewhere (so take it with a grain of salt) That the perfect ending is supposed to reflect on the beginning scene from FFX. They said it was supposed to be a sort of "full circle" feeling that you've truly completed the game and come back around.

That being said I too wish this ending was a bit better, both quality and story binding. Seems almost unrewarding for a full completion.

@vidkid64 If you read on FF wiki, it says that Tidus represents the element of Water. Which, is the meaning for his main sword, Brotherhood, and why he always ends up in water. It's also represented by the light color of his sphere grid, which is also blue. I hope this helps.

no it's not, FFX ended fine, and X-2's storyline was tacked on, FFX didn't need a sequel, Square Enix are just greedy whores making spin-offs from there games that did very well, hence FF7 doing insanely well in sales so they made a CGI movie (Advent Children), a PSP prequel game (Crisis Core), and a spin-off of one of the most popular characters in the game (Vincent, Dirge Of Cerberus) worst shooter game ever btw, and now if even tho FF13 failed, there's a FF13 sequel coming soon *sighs* lol

I will never be able to accept Final Fantasy X actually being over until we get some bonus game that showcases Jecht's Pilgrimage with Braka.

Jecht's character becomes super easy to like if you look at him from the aspect of a father who was tough on his kid to make him strong. However the son took to toughness/abuse at face value and grew to hate his father.

He also went through a great deal of change throughout his journey. It was a shame we only got to hear about it and not partake in it.
