Yeah, I've seen that video before. The problem is that there are now very powerful businessmen and scientists who have gotten so far along with this theory that they wouldn't be willing to EVER admit they're wrong because that would be a disgrace to them and they'd lose HUGE amounts of money. And with the recent Climategate scandal we can clearly see that is the case. But that's just it. They might be wrong We won't know till it's too late... But what if they are right? No one knows for certain. You clearly believe you are right, but at some point in your life you have been wrong even though you thought you weren't. The consequence of failing to act if Globalclimate change is our doing is too great to do nothing. There are a lot more pockets that keep getting fat as they have for years if we don't act and that's the real problem.

That's just propaganda. Even if the world climate were to change (as it has many times in the past), we already have the technology to alter it! There is no "too late" unless our sun burns out or the poles shift but we can't do anything about that anyway. It is stupid to fear something that we cannot see or fully understand and to put our trust into government and select scientists. What we really should be trying to prevent is global tyranny! Now that's a real threat to our future!

Look, this isn't about a noble cause to save the planet. The ones that are pushing this the most are the ones that will benefit the most. Their new oppressive carbon emission laws and taxes won't affect them. They will rise to the top of the world while everyone else returns to the Stone Age. We will all live in fear and obey their every command so that they can "save us" from the "evil CO2!"

Just look at Al Gore, he's already been proclaimed as a hero and has won many awards for it.

warmer, the summers are getting longer and my snowmobile spends more time in the garage. It takes longer for the snow start building up (and the lakes to ice up), there is a long period where it snows and then it just all melts the next day.

but you are right there are some very cold periods as well, seems like the temperature "peaks" more. Like in the summer there are unusual warm times as in the winter there are unsual cold periods, but overall its clearly getting warmer

I think this is really a topic worth doing some serious non-biased research on. It can be hard to cut through the lies but eventually the truth will prevail. The deniers are not "paid for by the oil companies" as some claim. There is a web site (oism org) with over 30k scientists that have doubts about climate change. Even the founder of the weather channel, John Coleman, thinks it's a scam.

I think it's about control and money - no different to the banking bailouts.

It's worth looking into. I saw a video about it by a guy called Lord Monckton who had been speaking out about it for a long time.

Don't you think it's ironic how the ones telling us most often to change our lifestyle and to pay for our evil emissions are the ones who emit the most CO2 and are the most wasteful?

If they were so concerned about man's wasteful activities then they could have just had a video conference instead of flying 140+ private jets and driving 1200+ limousines to Copenhagen to have an unbelievably expensive and luxurious party/meeting.

ahhh... A video confrence will never be the same as being face to face. Besides they needed to hear the peoples voice as well with the 100.000 protesters demanding action. A video confrence would not bring the same attention as this issue needs and has gotten. And I think he is right. We shouldn't wait for world leaders to save the earth, we should start ourselves.

The fact of the matter is there will be a lot of people who will greatly benefit from this such as Maurice Strong. Its not about saving the planet; it's about creating a new world order... a new way to gain more power and control over the people.
