I saw Marco as the only successor to Rossi. but now I feel there is no one left on the grid who has the skill and personality to retain the fans. looks like were now stuck with Stoner and Lorenzo who in my opinion race for company's and not passion. Colin Edwards is soon to retire too. I just hope next years Ducati's competitive enough for Rossi to finish his career on a high and show all these people who think Rossi's lost it are wrong.

Marco's bike did lowside, explains why his bike swung wide into the turn and was almost completely flat to the ground on the right side.

Marco intentionally regained traction to veer back into the race line endangering himself and the riders behind him ultimately leading to his death.

He deliberately regained traction so he could deliberately veer into the race line? That's the dumbest fucking thing I've ever heard, congratulations. He was trying to save the lowside, that's why he was still on it when the rear tire regained traction, but most of these guys try to and do successfully save lowsides. Casey Stoner's telemetry on the Ducati at one track showed him saving the bike 5 or 6 times, PER LAP, does that make Casey an idiot that wants to get run over?

R.I.P. from the USA in FLA, I used to dragrace motorcycles and to me everybody at the motogp level is already a legend...Marco was to young and telented to be gone so soon. He seems to have been a colorful individual, & will be remembered for a very long time by those he met & knew. He DID make a technical mistake in the crash...& yes, you can make mistakes 'during' a crash. He tried to re-mount (save) the bike during his low-side, this steered him back into "the lane"(Traffic)....he should have released the bike & he would have slid to the outside of the corner, out of traffic.....as a result of his error, he got whacked full-on in the back of the head. RIP.

I will be the first to admit I wasn't a fan of Super Sic initially. Wasn't a fan of the daredevil/high risk moves that caused bobbles and knockdowns. But as this season went on I noticed his maturation under fire, how his skills evolved with that maturation and never blunted his raw talent. And through it all he was an undeniable immense personality that few if any could deny or appreciate.
