This crappy animation in the video is only seen in that arc, and never again. The quality of the animation in the episodes I described, are better then one piece's animation quality has ever been. I'm not hating on one piece by the way, I have seen all the episodes of One Piece and love that show too.

You read it, it's true. Dominant in originality, sales (top selling manga), story, character development, etc everything is just close to perfect (there are a few flaws, of course)

Naruto vs OP is so 2 years ago it's not even funny. And even then OP was slightly better. Naruto went downhill with Shipuden.

It did! Even then it was shoddy though. Episode 133 had a good framerate but terrible art, and episode 134 had fantastic art and normal framerate... that was the end of it. I even stuck through all the fillers. I can't speak for Shippuuden now, but I watched the first 40-something episodes and couldn't take the bad execution anymore, the stupid changes, long time-consuming pans, horrible art and new music. It lost all dramatic suspense.

Yeah, don't bother with Shippuuden unless you just want to watch it just because it's so bad. It's fun sometimes to watch something *so crappy* that it's funny. Like this video, eh?

If you're a Naruto-manga lover, I'm not going to say anything there either, but that's better than lovin' Shippuuden.

PS: I like the reason, that it didnt finish yet, because you dont just jump into a story and leave the story, before you even got what really happend... in naruto you see how they grow up and get stronger and stronger, as their comrades and ancestors die. you feel with them and sometimes you hate them..

I've had this discussion way too many times, but here are some of the key points I tend to outline in this sort of situation:

1) No ending means a pacing is difficult -- fillers are added, story progression irregular, low-quality episodes (with 1-2 episodes to spice things up, like your pre-raikage episode)

2) The term "trite" comes to mind. Early Naruto had great strategic fights -- now I see a lot more DBZ.

3) Drama done too many times becomes old. Naruto no longer evokes tears.

@llamatube yeah no, the manga sucks as well now, too many plot hole, inconsistencies. female characters are still useless, the current war arc was underwhelming as hell. which led to many off panel battles which would have been great to see. the fox is naruto's bitch now, also hate that.kishimoto really dropped the ball on part 2. you could tell after part 1 that things wer going downhill when naruto came back learning nothing, and still acting lick\\ke his old self mostly

Ya this really sucks, putting such ridiculous filler into episodes really makes the episodes less enjoyable. I think they should just do one quality episode, and have a separate team or something do a filler episode the next week. We can all just skip the filler episode and just get one good episode every 2 weeks, which is better than screwing up every episode IMO.
