How much honey did you use in this mix? Where can I buy Pectin, and what is the shelf life of the jam after being put in the jar? Great natural source of jam other than buying store brands. Thank you for the instructions.
Thanks for the video. Do you know how long it keeps on the shelf? You didn't seem to use the ring type lids....Ok to reuse jam jars and their lids from say Smuckers jam?
It is called Pectin but you can just buy some Jam Setter. I guess it depends on whether you like Honey with other fruits. You could try all sorts of different fruits if your palette likes the combination. I found strawberry and honey pretty safe! Maybe banana and honey as a jam? See how you go and experiment!
What was the name of the white substance you added? Also can you use the balsamic vinegar with all fruits or do you feel it only works with strawberries?
