  • when i was a child I see bad things but now I do it the other way because I know what if feels like.

  • 0:50 haha lmao

  • It just shows how big the influence is.....

  • point taken. kids, don't become your parents :p

  • i cried whan they were trowing rocks at the dog wtf thats wrong

  • this is so sad... brought tears to my eyes... :(

  • 4 people are BAD influences on children and DENY it.

  • hey everyone :) we are trying to push childline out to everyone, and get this you tube video we have liked by as many as possible. as loads of kids are suffering everyday . so we thought of doing a rap about how kids need help who come from abusive families....thanks all and god bless....here's the you tube link..../watch?v=kL_JRrTlPTE :)

  • I cried too :-(

  • Omg Australian adverts nearly always make me cry.

There is no beating around the bush. The first time I went to Aus, i saw a drink driving advert and it was so graphic and upsetting. Does what it should tho

  • How profound!now watch a video of muslim children being taught how to wear an EID vest.right,crickets...

  • thats a powerful ad. is it australian?

  • I cried! :(

  • @jayydee00

I did too, somehow watching this video touched something deep within, and I am happy to see that this feeling I had is also shared by others!

  • What a disturbing commercial. But seriously, who just drops a can on the street like that? No one.

  • clap clap clap !!!!!!

  • It's not videogames or violent movies or the news or even the parents, that make up the outcome of a child's future. It's videogames and violent movies and news and the parents lack of control over what their kids see and do.

  • Fantastic! Put this on the screens in New Zealand too!

  • "go back were you came form" HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

  • @mazafuzle Racism against immigrants is actually a very big problem in Australia. "Go back to where you came from" is quite a common phrase there.

  • @XinBiDe did i ask you something??

  • @mazafuzle Yes?

  • @XinBiDe no i didnt i posted a comment and you responded as if i askd you to respond

  • @mazafuzle Your post: "Interesting, does this kind of xenophobia really exist in Australia?" And I simply answered your question.

  • @XinBiDe It is in the U.S. too.

  • i ecsept something funny, but i so something true..

  • wow

  • whats the song?

  • Why would they put smoking and wife battering in the same ad?

Do the people who made the ad think smoking is bad like that?

It's so stupid how people overreact to smoking just because it's not good for you. If some people had their way, we'd all be living in padded cells, wrapped up in cotton wool.

  • @feckarsebubis ive been a smoker for 11 years,

and i wish i could go back to when i first put that cigarette

in my hand and throw it to the ground instead

of puffing on it. I agree, not that big of a deal,

but it does effect your health big time.. if you're

going to smoke something, light up a lefty =)

answer this for me and then re-read your

comment.. would you want your kids smoking?

  • @delder16

I wouldn't really, and when I have kids I suppose I'll do the usual "Are you smoking? Tut tut tut..." with my hands on my hips :^)

But what I was saying was there's no comparison between smokin nd wife battering.

I'm off to have a fag, good luck :O

  • @feckarsebubis because its just as bad.

  • @nnk95 If that's a serious statement then you need a dose of reality and to get your priorities straight.

  • @feckarsebubis Don't forget, 2nd hand smoke can kill too. No problems with smokers, as long as they keep their misfortunes to themselves.

  • crazy Euro's. In the U.S. all we have to worry about is our kids turning out like Paris Hilton or worse....Lady Gaga!

  • Wonderful commercial. They just need to start airing it again!

  • I accidently clicked the soccer ball at the bottom of the video... it kinda ruined it.

  • Wow, I actually teared up.

  • racist commercial. only white people

  • @aznspc no it's not. if it was a skandinavian ad, there are rarely black peopel on tv here.... why? almoste everyone is wihte.

  • @aznspc So you're modelling ignoring cogent points in favor of saying "racist"? How are your kids, about that attitude? If you have children, you could be proving the video's point.

  • @aznspc lol ur right :P

  • its funny how they made it so literal, but yes children see children do, but our parents thought us right from wrong, we have a choice, to do what their doing (right or wrong). maybe then we'll realize that our future children will also mimic us the way we mimic our parents,, this is truly a very powerful commercial...

  • What a GREAT advert. They should show this on UK television, it would really help. Some parents just don't have a clue about the responsibility their role comes with. Wish the government would back strategies like this.

  • As true as this is the ones who need to watch it are not the ones who will. They have become socities problem!

  • WOW POWERFUL!!!

  • I felt like crying at the end of this.

  • haunting video

  • =( THIS IS SO SAD..

  • blame men for giving the women such a sh*t choice in the first place.

  • @freakunique

BLAME PEPOLE LIKE YOU YOU PEACE OF SHIT FMINST BITCH !!!!!!!!!!

YOU ARE FUCKING WITH THE WORNG KIND IF YOU WANT TO CONTROL MAN YOU WILL JUST GETT THE FAGS AND THE TRANYS SO FUCKK OFFFF DIRTY FUCKING IDIOT BITCHS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @baruchlevine1 Such foul language from such a little kiddy winkle. Maybe you missed a nappy wappy but that's no excuse for such poor typing. Was your mother too busy whoring herself out to teach you any manners? Wouldn't surprise me one little bit.

  • We don't teach our children anything , school does, tv does the system has control over us. think about it, we eat what ever it's advertize, why not look for organic foods, many people don't even know how real milk taste like, why? we need to educate our kids but first we need to know where we came from to make a change cause this world is so fake

  • I have to disagree. If what you were saying were true, than every child that walked out of the same school would be the same. But they're not. TV/society/etc. does have an effect, but nothing like the effect of a parent (or lack thereof).

Evolution has put very real chemical reactions in our minds that are associated with our caregivers. Countless studies show this effect. And the right parenting (active or passive) will teach a child how to react to/process TV and the world around them.

  • We can blame Bushs` and Blairs` and Hitlers etc., parents.....they saw they followed....

  • The question is:

What did we teach our children today?

  • Brings a tear to your eye this one......... Because it's so true ;-)

  • Thanks for sending : )

  • @girlznguitarz I taught mine to ignore the hatred of people like cottonmouth919 and to pray for them because they are pitiful.

  • @koolchloe Good, sadly some teach their children the bad things they were taught and nothing changes.

: ) and just ignore cottonmouth919.....ignorant person that they are.

  • we thrown all kinds of chemical and other rubbish into our oceans and landfill sites, we build bombs that fracture into millions of pieces when they hit people, we blind, maim and burn our children with bombs and grenades, we shoot metal bullets into children at close range, we blow people to pieces, we starve our children to death...IS THIS what it is to be human.... Why hasn`t the earths LANDLORD evicted us yet? We are BAD TENANTS after all!!!

  • We as the tenants of planet earth.... kill the animals, we kill other people, we throw litter all over the place, we pollute the air and the seas and rivers, we kill and give the fish cancers, we treat the animals cruelly, especially farm animals, we mistreat animals, we throw our elderly in homes, we eat the wrong foods, drink too much alcohol and smoke cigarettes ruining the surface of our lungs, we chop down the rain forests and make the ecology of the earth dangerously volitile....

  • The greatest challenge a person can endure, is to rise above the false teachings of his own parents and traditions and to teach them, and yet still love them. That is real progress. Understanding ones ownself, and the influences that are tempting for fear of not being accepted, or loved, or not fitting in but seeing the importance of doing the right things, no matter what others think. Most of all, understanding, forgiving, and loving yourself. Allowing the heart to guide the mind not visa-versa

  • The little kid flipping the other motorist the bird. Priceless. Haha!

  • God. I'm on the verge of tears...

  • It's heart breaking that there are such people in our socities, personally if there was an alternative, I'd be ashamed to call myself human.

  • Clear message...and so true. Parents, your children are little sponges, absorbing your behavior. And so it goes, generation after generation. Embrace change. Sometimes we need to begin again.

  • but the change is not just in the family, its in the species.

  • The humans species is the family.

  • very touching.

    made me cry.

  • cool video! g;ad to se the parents of the world are training their kids right! Particularly that one kid in the car flipping off the other driver! WOOOT!

  • well done

  • I have chills all over me now

  • what is this world coming to if we as parents dont make a change now!! great vid. it gets the message across very clearly
