He definitely deserved the Tony. I get chills just listening to him sing "Some Enchanted Evening"! He, and the rest of this wonderful cast, helped me to fall in love w/ South Pacific-- and I usually don't care for Roger's and Hammerstein-- but this is an incredibly well done revival!
