My friend is a chef and we were traveling from Indianapolis to Orlando. We celebrated the night before by opening a bottle of wine. Her professional bottle opener had 6 inch knife blade on it to help cut foil and champange wires. She put it in her purse (big purse) by mistake. The purse went through a security screen by the TSA as her personal carry on baggage and was not discovered. To our horror, we found it at the bottom of her purse at 38,000 feet while looking for a pack of gum! YIKES!
@Jathalie97 For power this does not need to be limited to oz. It is just liquid products that need to be 3 or less oz. I do recommend if you plan on bringing powder to put in a clear zip lock just in case. The safe you are the better!
@ilooovepink if you are doing carry-on the plane, then it has to be in a zip lock and scanned through security. if checking in luggage at the counter, then you can pack however you use. just make sure luggage does not weigh over 50lbs.
@ShopAtSpicywedding Shadows and powders do not need to be in a clear bag, but as far as I handle this when doing a carry-on I put all my make-up such as liquid foundation, concealers, and eye shadows all together in a clear zip lock regardless. It just makes it easier in the packing process and make visible when going through security. Hope this helps!
Omg! Good thing i subscribed to you! Ive been looking for videos about what you can and what you cant bring on a plane.. Cause its probably been years since ive been on a plane. Im planning to go out of the country this coming month! Lol! Please do more travel tips! Please.. :D thank you so much!
@allcrankedup Hi-I'll do a 2nd part to travelling. There are certain things to know aside from the liquids mentioned. Ex: Laptop, travelling with medication, babies, etc... Appreciate the input.

what about eyeshadow? or pure powder (like face powder)? Does that have to be in a clear bag?
