  • Luv luv luv your honesty Ava! I heard that even though u felt as tho u were starting @ square 1, that the muscles have "memory", so u will recoup the fitness level u had reached quicker than someone who had not reached ur level. Just wanted to encourage u.

  • @VeryHappy2bMe glad you dig the honesty. It's the only way I know to be, when it comes to this fitness thing. Why video document it if I'm going to come one here and BS, you know. Yeah, Im trying to pep talk myself with the "muscle memory" stuff. I did Core Syn today, and it actually went rather well. I just KNEW I was going to have trouble. So I guess you (they're) right about that, huh? Thanks for the encourage meant, doll!

    mind over matter- i know i was saying b4 that i was scared to try it..but not anymore..ill just go for it! =)) i wanna do a hybrid of turbo fire n p90x.

  • @fitnessmimi Oh please! you're going to do just fine. Great, even! It's definitely a challenge and will continiously require some "mind over matter". Nonetheless, it's all worth it. I hear a lot about the hybrid with Turbo Fire. It's starting to peak my curiousity. Well good luck with it all, darling!

    I presently struggle w/ pushups too. lol I am glad ur doing a second round, I am on wk2 of p90x classic/turbofire hybrid.

  • @ebonyrose316266 Yeah, upper body strength has never been one of my bragging points. Hopefully I'll be able to change that this round. I finally got a pull up bar, which I didn't have first time. I was using bands. I think that will REALLY make a difference too. Much luck to you with the hybrid!

  • You look so good! The 5.5 pounds is just water weight lol. I'm doing the lean as well and I'm trying to get bikini ready now instead of january...new year's resolution my ass lol. I'm starting my phase 2 tomorrow actually. Good luck, I'm sure you can do another round with no problem!

  • @MakeupOnABudget Girl, I tried to tell myself it was water weight too. But the timing doesnt add up. Plus I was 4 pounds heavier last week too. Yeah, gained another pound since then. smh. Great minds think alike when it comes to the "get fit now" thing. Gotta keep this as a lifestyle. Not just a cliche resolution, right? Good luck to you with phase 2. Bring it, honey! Let's hope you're right about me being able to do it with no problem. But, I have a feeling it won't be THAT simple.

  • @souljagurlsha Good to know I'm not the only one. It's SO EASY to slip back into those bad habits. Eventhough it feels great to eat right and workout, it's just too easy to fall back. smh But I'm tired of waiting, and walking on this slippery slope. So back at it I go! Thanks! :)

  • Wow you look great! I love the hair:) I always have to bend my knees while doing pushups. I'm gonna do the wall squat lol. I never do that. Thanks for sharing!

  • @Jesavee Thanks honey! Yeah, I could only do "girl pushups" too, when I first started P90X. So I guess the fact that I can do SOME regular means I haven't completely fallen back, huh? I just shoulda been able to do more. Yes, that wall squat is no joke! lol Try it!
