  • when u want the 450 outrunner motor by eflite, canu still use all the rest of the electronics in the super cub?????? reply quick plzzzz??

  • Unfortunately no. You have to replace all of the electronics, servos, transmitter, receiver and speed controller. It can get quite expensive if you don't already have a transmitter.

  • very good it would be ammense if u added some weights at the middle bottom of the fuselage then it would be much eaier to land.

  • Hello. What kind of tranmitter are you using? What about the receiver and ESC?

    Thanks!!

Wish my cub had that power!!!!

  • That transmitter was a Spektrum DX6 with an AR6000 receiver. I have since upgraded to a Spektrum DX7.

The motor is an E-Flite Park 450.

The dogs in the background are Daisey and Bender, Australian Cattle Dogs. They love to go flying with me.

  • Would you recommend that upgrade set up? I've been looking to add some new life to my Supercub. BTW was it a hard upgrade to do since the plane is RTF?

  • The DX6 is a very good TX. If you can afford it I would recommend the DX7 because you can use several different RX for it instead of just the AR6000 and there are a lot more programmable options.

If you upgrade you will need to upgrade all of the electronics, servos, RX, TX, motor and esc.

  • Was it hard to work on the plane? I'm somewhat new to the hobby and both my planes are RTF. Supercub and Pitts Bipe. This would be my first real attempt at modding.

  • got vertical
