This game is essentially single player; the multiplayer isn't very polished and the pvp is nowhere near balanced or even competitive. Most of the people never play online.
The MMO/MO tittle should only label those games that are EXCLUSIVELY multiplayer, because otherwise about every game would be MO since most have multiplayer mode, it's stupid.
And of course it isn't free to play. You should reconsider the description.
if you have it on steam the same thing happened to me with ghost recon. It fixed however, when I ened up having to reinstall my OS do to a virus which is alot of hassel, but thats the only solution I know of, maybe something better though
Check at GameSpy Arcade. The online play is hosted, free of charge. Same as Diablo 2. After you purchase the game from a store, online multiplayer servers are free.

Heh, i dont know anything about guild wars but in TQ you can only have 8 ppl in a whole server. Games like WoW and Everquest (MMORPGs) have way more than 8 in one server, plus MMORPGs and MMOs in general are totally based online. TQ is online and offline.

The game encompasses multiple players in the same server. USAsia, USWest, USEast.
It is similar to Guild Wars, in the fact that yeah many can interact in the chat channels, but when it comes down to running instances, you can only see and talk to and hear your own party/team/friends.
Sadly enough, I have never played Sacred. Nor have I had mention to it at National Guard of Gaming, so you won't find a link to their website on my Game Database, either.
But I'll check into it, and get back on it when I can.

Very similar to the graphics, controls, concept and gameplay seen in our other game, Diablo 2. Titan Quest offers players the ability to team up with 2-6 players, in order to conquer the demons of the underworld, at the hand of Hades.

Yeah, there was a misconception at the onset of this game being introduced to us at National Guard of Gaming.
A player posted the game title as an MMO when it is fact merely MO.

The CD Key comes with the game when you buy it at the store. Check the box or CD case itself for that.
