In other words: We shot a kid, didn't find drugs, are using "ongoing investigation" as an excuse to STFU about what would be considered "attempted murder" for the average citizen, and while we act very slowly the incompetent cop that did the shooting is on "leave." It's nothing new. In my hometown, just a tiny little town with basicly no crime issues whatsoever, the town's narcotics officer friggin lives to arrest kids smoking pot. He's had to stop arresting people because cases against him for his arrests have backed up so far sometimes. He's also a known wifebeater and former cokehead with a Domestic Violence CONVICTION on his record. Far as I know, that means he can never carry a gun, but he does anyways. Scares the hell out of me.

Yah, one time, me and my friends were hanging out. we were all like 12-15, and some friends started play kicking one friend for a moment. They weren't even making contact with him. Then some adrenaline fueled douche bag jumped out of a sports car a minute later saying "this is the fucking police, put your fucking hands against the fence" while pointing a loaded gun at us. Then some local cops came by. We explained what happened, and the assholes still backed up the actions from that cop.

The guy wasn't even on duty, and it wasn't even his jurisdiction, but he still got to keep his job. While the fucker was at my friends front door, talking to his parents, two 12 year old kids road off on their bmx bikes, because they were tired of waiting by the fence. In the police report, they wrote that 2 full grown adults road off. One of the girls there was shaking and crying. He said we looked like we were "monkey stomping" someone. He just wanted an excuse to feel big and wave his gun

Funny that this kid was such a great kid and all about peace, except there was enough evidence against him for a search warrant and for an unit to do a sting operation on his place at night. It has not been legalized in the state of Michigan. The use of medical marijuana has been, however, the provisions are VERY strict and it takes a lot to be able to use medical marijuana properly and not face punishment if you are not. So, since you are the expert clearly on all of this, continue your blabber about murderers and how marijuana is now legalized. First of all I don't care how I make my money as a police officer. I will be getting paid to do the thing that I've wanted to since I was a little kid. If you don't like the idea about paying an officer's salary, make sure you don't ever call the police or use their services when needed.
