hey bob i have used your tutorial to make my own landscape kinda like yours(obviously my one isnt as good as yours) please could you check it out and comment on it i would be gratefull i put it as a video response to this video
that was MINDE BLOWING!!!!...it was amazing...i have been working on watercolor for around a week now and this video, i can tell, is going to help me out A LOT!!...thank you soooo much!!!
Thanks for the lesson. This is emboldening me to renew my watercolour painting, having not touched a brush in years. Your simple technique is just wonderful.
thank you very much for your videos. this makes learning watercolor painting very much easier. its easier to learn the techniques thru video than books. i get to see how the brush strokes are done instead of trying figuring out thru rhetoric description that seems fuzzy...
You are definitely set apart as an artist and as a teacher. I admire what you do and how you do it but, above all, I value enormously your generosity. Thank You
Thanks for your videos Bob. Your instructions are very clear. I especially like how you present in a "down to earth" way--it makes wc seem less intimidating!
Great Job Bob, It's so important to celebrate the "Handpainted techniques" and inspire new talent. With so many young folk surendering the skill-sets and art form for "digital" shortcuts these days, it more important than ever to expose them to the tangible art forms.
Thanx! BoB...it was very useful for me...I'm from India. I was wondering if you could help me with the painting of flowers...like daisies, lilies, roses, etc. with water colours...The shading and the detailing is the trickiest thing for me!!! Please help me!!!
Flowers is a popular subject in watercolour and I've got a video planned for that subject in the next few weeks, so keep looking out. In the meantime, you can get delicate shading on petals by dampening each petal with water then touching one edge with a colour. The water then helps the paint flow very subtely across the petal. Hope this helps!
Thanks for the comment. I teach art to kids of 7 - 70, as well as doing some commission work. The main thing is that I'm mostly self-taught and I promise, if I can do it, then so can anyone! This magic 'ability' that a lot of people think you have to be born with, is really "enthusiasm + practice = success = more enthusiasm = more practice = more success", etc. etc.
Thanks for the comment. I've got one on Summer trees appearing shortly and hopefully, plenty more to follow. I want to produce videos on painting subjects (any media) that people want, so let me have suggestions.
Mr. Bob Davies you are awesome, thank you.

Great!! I have not enough words in English to describe how your videos have encourage me to start with watercolors.
I have visited your web site and is very infomartive and easy to follow. The tips to draw faces are excellent.
I think than teaching kids has given you the "touch" to make and show everything specially clear and easy.
Thanks a lot.
