The most important thing to be noted here is that this is not at atmospheric pressure.

The triple point occurs above atmospheric pressure hence why liquid CO2 is impossible to produce at room pressure, it simply sublimes.

@eleventysevens they didn't do it at atmospheric pressure, they built pressure in the pipette by rolling it closed, until it was under about 5 atm, so it could be turned into a liquid
