I come back to this tune again and again. As some have noted it is very White Album-ish. My favorite Beatle's album. And actually the name of the white album; "Beatle's".
I've had the bit of melody at 0:20 stuck in my head for months, and for some reason I though it was from a Queen song. Listened to the wholes News Of The World, Jazz and The Game albums without finding it (obviously). And then today I though I'd listen to this album, and FINALLY I found it haha!
This is a wonderful album, very White Album-ish, Paul McCartney really proves that he still "have it".
this album is unbeleiveable,.Paul has proven again how talented he really is ,..still so creative in hia late 60's,..he has taken another quantum leap as an artist
Actually only Paul is on this album - he plays all instruments. The producer also adds certain orchestral/synth elements. However, only one voice and all instruments are by Paul.

It does have that "White Album" quality. Love this seemingly effortless song by Paul.

It sounds like Blackbird. I don't really like this album though. I miss his songs like "Maybe I'm Amazed."

Actually,Paulie proved enough skill, talent, success, to allow himself this "free holiday" at Creationland... not being for the benefit of mr kite.

My first thoughts of this song is Macca in the early 70's, "Ram" comes to mind...love it!

this could have been on the white album - another brilliant mcCartney song, coooooeeeeee

yeah, maybe it could, but it would be the worst song on the album (although it's a pretty good song)

what does his little girl say? Something about a piano?

This, I think, is the first song his young daughter is on. I think that he has atlest one song with each new little one on it.
But this is not official.

This has shades of his first solo album - very simple and bare.
