Excellen. Probably the best recording of the Sonata. he plays distinct, thenically perfect and intelligent and take out the dynamic effects very well. Kemp is very good but i think that Backhaus is a little bit better.

Die Backhaussche Version der cis-Moll-Sonateinsgesamt ist für mich diemit Abstand beste Interpretation! Der 3.Satz hier klingt unaufgeregt, nicht affektiert, sondern äußerst musikalisch. Diese DECCA-Aufnahme besitze ich selber auf einer 17er Schallplatte. Sie hier auf YT zu finden ist schon toll!
