Really nice video. Makes me want to fly somewhere again :D Happily I can say that I'm going to Thailand with a Finnair MD-11 in four weeks :) I live in finland, about 3kilometers from the airport, so it's nice to spot some airplanes from my window :D again: nice video!! 5/5

Soon Finnair MD-11's are history... The HEL-JFK route will get an Airbus A330-300 in April.

I hope to visit Finland one day and actually get to see some stuff. I have been to Vantaa many times but never got to go outside the airport. Now. you get to go to the airshow-I am jealous haha-wish I could go too... I flew Fiinnair many times and I must say that is one of the best airlines I ever flew with so far-reliable, convenient, nice crew...Anyway, I will be looking forward to see some videos from the airshow!

how comfortable are the seats (I've heard Finnair's services are quite good, and the seats very plush)?

this flight was about 7 hours and 30 min. The seats are like any other seats there is nothing special about them at least on the MD-11, I do not know about the other Finnair planes. In general their services are really good-they are on time, the crew is really nice, etc...I can't say anything bad about them and I flew with them about 10 times already.
