Hi thanks. I now work locally in Linux so setting up multiple WP sites was awkward (for me) but perfectly possible. With Wamp (under Windows), if memory serves, I just duplicated the folders, obviously taking care that wp-config points to the right database.
Thanks for the tutorial. Worked great for me. How would I go about working on multiple wordpress websites locally? I'm working on a WP website now but I'd like to start another site. Not sure how to go about doing this. Thanks
Thankyou so much for this video, i followed another couple of tutorials and had little to no success.. i havent finished uploading my zip file yet, but im hoping that this process is as straight forward as what you show, i believe it will be. I will leave comment, once successful!

I followed every step you did, was successful the whole way through but cannot access wp-admin, i get the following:
The requested URL /temp1/wp-login.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Looks like something bad happened when exporting the database, please repeat the export again. The procedure works, we do that all the time.

I followed the instructions to the T but when it came time to import the local database to cpanel...I kept getting an error: SQL query:
{ \ rtf1 \ ansi \ ansicpg1252 \ cocoartf949 \ cocoasubrtf540{ \ fonttbl \ f0 \ fswiss \ fcharset0 Helvetica;
