@Hirohamster2 The weapon is powered by gas and the gas is pushed in 2 directions. First direction is to push the BB out of the barrel, the second is to push the charging handle back against the spring, which pushes it back again and loads the next BB in. Not that difficult really and adds a really good effect to these guns.
@Geforcelivingit Wow! That sounds quite cool, never had a thing for airsoft because they weren't as realistic as a real gun, but this has caught my eye! So, does a GBB system limit the performance compared to one without a GBB system?
@Hirohamster2 All depends on the type of gas you use. From what I know the gases you can use arre Green Gas, Red Gas, Propane, CO2 and maybe some others. This gun has actually been released as the WE SCAR-L and takes either Green Gas or CO2. The better the gas, the faster the BB gets shot in speed (Not RPM, in FPS). As for the realism in airsoft, it's a lot more realistic than you think at first and you really get into the mood in a game. Are you in the UK or USA or elsewhere?
@Hirohamster2 The legalities of airsoft differ and I know the gist of them in the US and the UK but nowhere else. As for the UK, there's quite a bit of red tape around airsoft but it's not that difficult once you understand. You can play airsoft at 16 or over with parental supervision and 18 or over without (Main sites). As for buying your own weapon, you need to be registered with the UKARA to buy a gun and to get that registration you need membership at a site. Message me for more info.
@TwinklesPussMaster61 My gun is originally from the US, California and I know the laws there, they may be the same in other states but I'm not too sure so don't take my word for it (Go to a police station and ask maybe?) But in Cali the law is to just be over 16 I thik and over 18 to buy them. No registration is required of any sort but you DO have to keep the orange tip on the gun for transportation (But a separate flash hider is my advice). Just be smart and don't wave them around in public :)
i ordered that and it said we will !TRY! to get you the gun AND IT HAS NOT COME 4 A LONG WHILE when will get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! plz respond it cost me alot of money.
what is gas blowback plz answer i found a really cool hardball gun but it says its gas blowback i dont know if its gas i need to it or what ever so plz answer
i wudnt buy this gun. i mean, its cool and all, but ud go thru sooo much gas with it. u'd be going thru 2-3 bottles each game. id use propane if i got one.
No. There will always be a little recoil, but on AEG you wont feel it. But here, on the gbb, you'll feel it, but it wont be the same as a real gun. Cause on a real gun, there is far more power behind the bullet theres exiting the gun, so therefor more recoil :)
some do some dont Glass Blow Backs GBB's Have a light recoil not a very hard one like a real gun AEG's Automatic Electric Guns have no recoil what so ever
this one does. but most of them do not. you either need to get a gas gun specialized to do so or an axpensive AEG Gear box made specifically to do so.
@oatmealisawesome99 nah, full metal blowbacks have some good recoild and gas does too.. a pistol might have pretty powerful recoil on gas. but you wont get a realistic recoil as theres no exploding bullet to give the effect.
Beware I have the the new model SCAR and it does not work well out of the box. Used for one day of working/failing/working. Now it doesn't work at all. I don't recommend the gun. If you have to buy this junk, get a written 90 exchange, not just a manufacture's warranty, Dealers should stand behind this not ready for prime time junk!
I agree, I've got the WETTI M4 and SCAR, neither have failed with a little preventitive maintenance. Using the right BBs also. Nothing under .30s if you're gonna use it stock, the gun can't handle cyclic rates with anything lighter and you'll most likely smash your nozzle.
Its not even realistic to the FN one. The bolt handle does not move back n forth on the FNH SCAR so theres a major issue there. Its just like the bolt handle on M4 it doesnt fly back n forth when you shoot. The Bolt carrier does
Are you friggin retarded? Of course it does. I used them in Iraq, and have a WE SCAR, the only non realistic thing tis that it only goes half way. On the real thing it goes fully,
Nah. The camera probably has a bad speed and you only saw two times, because it didn't catch the others. That's why on full auto it appears to lag, a lot.
holy shit it looks like the whole thing is going to break apart..
