The disappointment is coming back to me. Perfect example of a game that should have never gone 3D. Indestructible terrain is a massive fail and playing it makes you feel like you're on morphene.

Uhm, the terrain in Worms 3D and Worms 4 ARE destructible.

In pretty much all Worms games since Worms 2 you can set if you want the terrain to be destructible or not.

@BloodyGrovyle My mistake, I guess I never saw that option. I bought this game within days of its release, and played it for like 2 hours and never again. Worms 2, Armageddon, and now Reloaded have occupied my time for many, many hours.

Worms just wasn't a game that should ever have made a transition to full 3D, glad they scrapped this and went back to 2D.

@FriendlyCroock Mainly because from the 1st or 3rd person perspective typical of a 3D game you tend to have a very limited scope of the playing field. This inhibits the party play style of Worms where everybody is supposed to be involved. It's also silly because you don't even get to see the full impact of your attack, Worms is known for it's chain reactions, you don't get to see that when the camera is only focused on one area.
