Take the example of Kosmo Vinyl doing the voice over from Taxi Driver (Robert DeNiro) The whole exercise was a reflection on east & west culture. The original Clash toured the USA & Far East and made clear the culture differences between the two. Robert Duvall: Charlie Dont Surf. I saw The Clash in 1984, at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. I had just graduated High School, it was my first concert, and Red Rocks opened early, like 9:00 am. We grabbed EXCELLENT SEATS! 9th row... we played Hackey Sack all day, and drank the Wild Turkey and Coca Cola we were able to sneak in... what a great time. The Clash is AWESOME...!

Even alot of the clashes work seemed to be a realisation of Taxi Driver. I mean what dose Travis Do in the movie he takes it apon himself to clean the streets. The clash seem to do the same thing instead of complaining about the problems of the world they offer solutions
