MLK is such a different person from Barack Obama. If you've got some time, please look up some Shelby Steele videos. MLK did stand for equal rights, but not to the extent that he would compromise his principles to get those rights, like I believe Obama would. Obama is supremely intelligent and capable, but not nearly as provocative as MLK. White people are obsessed with Obama because he makes them feel like racism (and other evils) are done with in the US.
