Ok, im sorry, but isnt it obvious that if there WAS any life on mars, that it would be underground? I mean, you don't find dinosaurs on the surface, and since mars is largely composed of dust and sand on its top layer, that would mean that any evidence would be at least 10 feet down... Sending supercharged RC cars to space isnt helping anything. neither is taking little samples of dirt and analysing them. Also, these vehicles need to go abit farther away than 500 METERS! WOW!
@LBPCraftsman Might well be that microbial Martians would enjoy radiation shielding and stable temperatures underground. But that (hypothetical) life would still produce surface evidence, albeit subtle. Sending an aseptic robotic drilling lab to another planet isn't a trivial exercise. But if you DID want to do that, you'd send a series of scout missions first: exactly what the MERs were, and what the MSL is now.
This is amazing, may be I can run away an move to Mars but I will be along.Ah, so along wondering around on Mars rocky surface just looking for anything to complete me. Oh, may be an rock will be my friend. That little rock want call me back. Why little rock, I thought we were FRIENDS FOR EVER UNTIL THE END OF TIME. We will get there to Mars it just takes time, get technology that's being made and develop. Poor Pluto is along, just out there by it little self just so sad. Very sad indeed.
Btw i would LOVE to see such power generating tehcnology in compact versions for laptops or even smartphones.
Imagine a computer battery that practically lasts forever
