You just have to go to blackberry app world and download bbm from there. if blackberry app world isnt already installed on your phone for some reason you can google it from your phone browser and download it.

I have blackberry 8530 from metro pcs, it has the sensor pad instead of the roller ball and it works great, I love it :)

I just got my blackberry and did the conversion to boost, it worked out great after the second full install of service books.

SERIOUS QUESTION THAT NEEDS ASSISTANCE:

I performed all the steps in order to convert my phone into boost mobile-compatible service. However, toward one of the final steps, when I go to the Host Routing Table, a screen lights up that says "REgistration message queued. It will be sent once data coverage is available." This message appears after i click register on the Host Routing Table option in the Advanced Options.

What should I do? Its not working for me! Please help!

Boost Iden is to slow, you could do Boost CDMA that runs on Sprints network they don't advertise it but they still offer it. You can use Some Sprint Phones can work look up user boostberry3G they got the details

Actually, no you cant. We are using BOOST MOBILE which uses a sim card, sprint phones do not have sim slots. They purposely did it that way. thanks for the input tho

Love you missed understood Yes boost has the IDEN nextel sim card side but you also can get the CDMA side of Boost mobile that was launched in 13 states you have to use an area code from 1 of those states. Search Youtube for Boost CDMA there is numerous videos on it. Search Howard Forums for the list of Sprint Phones you can use on Boost CDMA. I know a lot of people don't like the Iden network so Was just sharing information not promoted by Boost. Happy Holiday
