Diaz had Conidt in way more danger atleast a few times, while on the flip side Diaz was never in danger what so ever throughout the fight. He also got Diaz's back in the last round. Condit had a few decent combos. Diaz had many more. Condit won by shitty leg kicks and you know it.

Just watched the fight again and i hate to say it but Condit clearly won the fight.... he didn't run, he stuck and moved and got the best of the majority of the exchanges. He executed his gameplan perfectly and completely nullified Nicks.
Whether you like Condits/Jacksons style is up to you (i personally hate it) but it doesn't change the fact that under the current rules he very clearly won the fight.

And Condit eat some of Nick's punches and got taken down at the end. Rogan on his podcast gave the nod to Diaz in this fight. Either way, it should have been a draw! If you compare it to basketball, Diaz's crazy flying fists are the most entertaining like slam dunks and alley ops. However, just because a team does more flashy dunks doesn't mean they win the game. A game can be won with great defense and by making tons of less exciting foul shots, which are comparable to Condit's leg kicks and backpeddling.

Condit fought the smart fight and gave Diaz a lesson in boxing. He hit Diaz with faster punches and stayed away from the slugfests (Which is what Diaz wanted). Diaz can say that Condit was hitting with slappy shots but his face sure tells the tale. Diaz was also his humble self in defeat (set sarcasm=on) and I am sure there are a lot of people happy with the decision.

Just watched the fight again and i hate to say it but Condit clearly won the fight.... he didn't run, he stuck and moved and got the best of the majority of the exchanges. He executed his gameplan perfectly and completely nullified Nicks.
Whether you like Condits/Jacksons style is up to you (i personally hate it) but it doesn't change the fact that under the current rules he very clearly won the fight.

They took away Nick's win (changing it to a NC) when he beat the number 1 fighter in the world, for testing positive for weed. From a neutral stand point, Condit did land some significant kicks and avoided Diaz a great deal, though how many of those actually hurt Nick? And Condit eat some of Nick's punches and got taken down at the end. Rogan on his podcast gave the nod to Diaz in this fight. Either way, it should have been a draw! Please tell me there will be a re-match.

If you compare it to basketball, Diaz's crazy flying fists are the most entertaining like slam dunks and alley ops. However, just because a team does more flashy dunks doesn't mean they win the game. A game can be won with great defense and by making tons of less exciting foul shots, which are comparable to Condit's leg kicks and backpeddling.

But even then, his win was controversial. And Dana just came out with a video, saying, that the judges and refs in this sport are killing MMA, and that something needs to be done.

Also, I don't let judges decide for me who won a fight, i judge my own opinion of a fight. Judges have been known to suck as well with goofy scoring. everybody should judge their own opinion of a fight. I would like to see a rematch seeing how neither fighter was really a winner.

The fight just simply wasn't over. both guys were still standing, and up in each others faces fighting. the fight was only stopped because of time. and then they count points? That shouldn't be what decides a true winner of a fight like that. It was very back and forth. We need a finish to this! it was an awesome fight with two evenly matched guys. There needs to be a clear cut winner!

Condit fought the smart fight and gave Diaz a lesson in boxing. He hit Diaz with faster punches and stayed away from the slugfests (Which is what Diaz wanted). Diaz can say that Condit was hitting with slappy shots but his face sure tells the tale. Diaz was also his humble self in defeat (set sarcasm=on) and I am sure there are a lot of people happy with the decision.
